In the same vein the conflict in South Sudan is not simply a tribal conflict or a power struggle between two people although both statements are partly true. Actually it seems that the crux of the problem is the declining political support for President Silva Kiir, who seems to have been on a mission to monopolize and control everything (as all African leaders have always wanted to) before he was brought to a screeching halt by the only language sycophants and dictators pay attention to... resisting force.
