Unveiling the Spiritual Storm in Kenya's Political Landscape

To fully grasp the unfolding drama in Kenya's political arena, one must understand its spiritual undercurrents. But how do you explain the spiritual to those who refuse to acknowledge its existence? I'll try to keep it simple, straightforward, and easy to understand.

In recent days, President William Samoei Ruto has been visibly agitated. His frustration has spilled over into public discourse, with terms like "spirit of rejection" and "filthy spirit" dominating headlines and news bulletins—words you’d never expect in mainstream media. This sudden burst of spiritual language into public conversation is far from ordinary.

Why has the President reached this breaking point? It boils down to mounting criticism from all corners. Kenyans are frustrated with this administration. However, Ruto seems to overlook two critical realities. First, humans are emotional beings—once someone is fed up, nothing you do will please them. Second, Kenya is a constitutional democracy where citizens are empowered to question their leaders without limitation. This disconnect has created a "perfect storm," with the government and the governed pulling in opposite directions.

Adding to the tension is the involvement of the church. History teaches us that when the church confronts the state, the church often prevails. This dynamic is now playing out in Kenya. The Catholic Bishops' critique of the government has triggered a shift in public sentiment, with things spiraling further out of control for the administration.

The situation grows more complex when viewed through a spiritual lens. Many clergy who once supported Ruto’s presidency have reversed their stance, some facing untimely deaths under mysterious circumstances. This has fueled speculation that their initial alignment with political leaders may have had spiritual implications. Theology lecturer Dr. Cornelius Inanga once warned against churches accepting gifts from politicians, cautioning that such acts might have ties to witchcraft or sacrifices.

These warnings resonate today as Kenya witnesses increasing exposure of hidden truths, reminiscent of biblical times when revelations preceded divine judgment. As a nation, Kenya seems poised on the brink of a spiritual reckoning. The question remains: will the leaders and the people heed the warnings in time?

For now, the political and spiritual storms continue to brew, leaving Kenyans grappling with uncertainty. As we navigate these turbulent times, one can only hope for divine mercy and a better Kenya.

Kalonzo, Ruto Unite in Mission to Expose Raila

The Hague is vague, the problem is Raila, PERIOD. We have this confirmation from none other than the VP himself. And the God-fearing cannot lie in church when he declares that he knows Kibaki bears no grudges even after after teaming with Raila to abuse the President.

Teaming with the straight-talking, brave and dare-devil Ruto, Kalonzo is showing Kenyans the way to go and that is to TAME RAILA. You see, only fools do not change their minds and the VP is not a political fool. He has grown and outlived cheap talk and activism to real governance now that is he is constitutionally just a heart beat away from the throne.

Raila's half-hearted quest for a local tribunal to try PEV perpetrators has been summarily busted. Poor son of Jaramogi has enough political foes with the furious Ruto the latest to join Uhuru and Kalonzo who both blame Raila for deflating their political balloons in 2002 and 2007 respectively. The PM is a marked man with enmity and venom oozing from every political orifice, damned either way he acts or speaks.

But we must not lose sight of the trophy. To their collective rescue, Kenyans are better advised to listen to the two voices of God through Kalonzo and Ruto and consign the PM to political dustbin lest they fall to his machinations to eliminate opponents prior to 2012 polls.

Prof Luis Moreno-Ocampo himself epitomizes bad omen and death. The last time he was here coincided with the cold murder the late Mungiki spokesman Njuguna Gitau Njuguna. What is more, Moreno's presence last week was accompanied with the death of three policemen who succumbed to grenade attacks.

Make no mistake, the ICC is Raila's project through the US with Ocampo being just a handle under manipulation. Removing UK and Gen Ruto from the Kenyans political landscape will not be an easy task. Their respective communities knows what true power is than the other 40+ Kenyan tribes. They will fight to the last blood buoyed by the exported Diaspora who have their ears and village loyalty on the ground.

So there we have Kenya's vision clearly spelt out for us by the VP. We must join Kalonzo's prayer to have Ruto's ICC case expedited to pave way his return to the cabinet even if it means take shade under ODM-K umbrella. But above all else Kalonzo needs Ruto on his side to formulate agenda for a brighter Kenya come 2012. Woe unto masters of mass action.

As a footnote to the doubting Thomases, Kenya remains a continental trailblazer in exporting fraud. And if in doubt just ask one Laurent Gbabgo of Ivory Coast. Pretender Quattrra is better advised to accept Thambo Mbeki's predictable proposal to serve as PM in a coalison government. NANI KAMA SISI? Hakuna. We lead, others follow.

Mocking God: Preying on Kenya's Insecurities

We have taken spiritual matters to another level. The so-called Kenya’s National Breakfast Prayers has been turned into another annual ritual to mock God. And God will surely and promptly pay us the dues.

The cheap gimmick of hosting Kagame must be banished for what it is. It is the same hosts who are busy watering the seeds of ethnic hatred and chauvinism while shamelessly pretending to offer empty sermons against the same.

The more things change the more they remain the same. We are stuck with the same old political script abbeit executed by different faces. Kagame’s presence at the BIG BREAKFAST reminds you of Moi’s cheap shot of airing footage of Rwanda’s genocide pictures to warn Kenyans against multipartism.

In one breathe we are shedding crocodile tears appealing for God’s guidance to reclaim what we trashed ourselves and with the other we are having police annihilate Kenyans in their thousands.

And what do we do when reprimanded by one Prof Alston?

Graduated deceit
Well, we have no shame in addressing sideshows by condemning the messenger while conveniently scuttling the bloody message. So what if Prof Alston exceeded his mandate? Splitting hairs is an art perfected by scoundrels.

Trust Wako’s toxic smile to come in handy in his plastic defense of extra judicial killing during his watch. Forget about the basic tenets of conflict of interest owing to the fact that he is among the key people accused of complicity in the massacres.

Waxing plastically patriotic and mouthing all those sovereignty balderdash won’t wash. We are our own enemies and now we have even graduated with the temerity to MOCK GOD. Ole wetu.
