Signs that Ruto has completely lost touch with reality which makes his immediate future very predictable

The tell-tale signs in the rulership of William Ruto so far suggests that what Kenyans have here is a draconian leader who is ready to ruthlessly deal with any threat to his mysterious presidency. Which takes us back to the long list of men who have come before him in similar circumstances and have been sure that they are on top of the situation only to suddenly find themselves out of power mainly because of wide-spread rejection by their people.

The truth is that history is littered with dictators who firmly believed they were in complete control only to find themselves abruptly losing power and facing the consequences of their actions. This phenomenon raises the question: why do dictators way too often lose track with reality?

One reason is the unchecked power that dictators possess. With no system of checks and balances, they become isolated from differing opinions and dissenting voices. This isolation creates an echo chamber where their own beliefs and ideas are reinforced, leading to a distorted perception of reality.

Another factor is the cult of personality that often surrounds dictators. They are surrounded by loyalists who constantly praise and flatter them, further fueling their delusions of invincibility. This sycophantic environment prevents them from receiving honest feedback or recognizing the warning signs that their grip on power may be slipping.

Additionally, dictators tend to suppress free press and independent media, controlling the narrative to fit their own agenda. By limiting access to unbiased information, they manipulate public perception and maintain a false sense of control.

History provides numerous examples of famous dictators who fell from power after believing they were untouchable. In Africa, there have been several famous dictators who experienced a downfall after initially believing they were invincible. One such example is Idi Amin of Uganda. Amin ruled with an iron fist, suppressing opposition and maintaining a cult of personality. However, his brutal regime eventually led to economic decline and international isolation, resulting in his ousting from power.

Another notable example is Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo). Initially seen as a charismatic leader, Mobutu consolidated power and amassed immense wealth for himself while neglecting the needs of his people. Eventually, corruption and mismanagement led to widespread discontent and rebellion, leading to his eventual overthrow.

The downfall of these dictators serves as a reminder that unchecked power can lead to delusion and detachment from reality. It highlights the importance of accountability, transparency, and respect for human rights in governance.

In conclusion, dictators lose track with reality due to unchecked power, isolation from dissenting voices, a cult-like following, suppression of free press, and manipulation of information. These factors contribute to their downfall as they become detached from the realities faced by those they govern. Check out: Ruto dictatorial trickery exposed but can Raila still win?

John Jomo succeeded in his prayers to the court and Justice Jairus Ngaah issued an injunction prohibiting the agency from requiring Jomo Kenyatta junior to surrender his pistol without first going through the laid down legal process. But how will the Ruto government respond? Here are a few possible "crazy" scenarios.

Those who saw Hussein Mohamed during his distinguished career as a Citizen TV journalist may be excused for feeling pity for him watching his body language a few hours ago as he fielded a question about Raila's claim that President Ruto invited the Tanzanian president to Kenya to mediate talks between him and Raila Odinga, only to snub her. President Samia Suluhu Hassan then left the country after two nights at a Nairobi hotel waiting in vain.

Mohamed started off laughing nervously when the question was posed. He then followed it up with his shifty answer which hardly made sense.

In just a handful of days, what happened in Nyalenda, Kisumu recently has moved from being highly sensitive to the Ruto government to something being discussed openly. And surprisingly, the international media and community are suddenly leading the discussions and showing great concern.

Raila Odinga in a press conference with the international press in Nairobi yesterday even went on to use the phrase “ethnic cleansing” and made comparisons with similar happenings from the past from all over the world. Read Chris Kumekucha full article
