The man widely believed to have won the 1992 presidential elections but was rigged out by Moi is fighting for his life at Karen Hospital where he was admitted. Kenneth Stanley Njindo Matiba was admitted at the Karen Hospital ICU yesterday in critical condition complaining of breathing problems.
Matiba was a very active mountaineer before his detention in 1991 and stroke in 1992 shortly before his release and his health has never been the same again.
