Mutula Kilonzo Junior Wins Makeuni by A Huge Landslide
Although the official results for the Makueni senatorial seat by-elections are yet to be announced, latest reports show that Mutula Kilonzo Junior is leading with over 100,000 votes with his closest challenger Prof P. Kaloki with less than 3,000 votes. Anybody catching up with him is therefore now out of question.
The people of Makueni have spoken emphatically and despite numerous obstacles the opposition CORD coalition has retained the seat which fell vacant after the death of Senator Mutula Kilonzo father to Mutula Kilonzo Junior.
More details to follow after the results are announced officially.
