As Kenya dithers and totters in the brink of collapse, it is important to put the much sort GRAND COALITION into its true perspective. The bitter truth is that this coalition pill won’t be dispensed soon. While both internal and external pressures are rightly directed at Kibaki, the loud contradiction is that Mwai Kibaki doesn’t own his leadership.
Kibaki subleted his presidency to his cronies who are holding him (and Kenyans too) hostage in return. Until these members of Kibaki's tribal court are certain their future is secured, they won't entertain any ideas that may not serve their collective personal interests.
Sharing power is fraught with its own unique dynamics. Things can be so unpredictable once the interim administration acquires a life of its own. Imagining such a development must be scaring the octogenarians who detest anything seen to upset their glittering status quo. They are home with life as defined in their secluded comfort far away from the average Kenyans.
Kenya remains a bleeding hostage to tribal elite whose only common ideology is nationalized BIGOTRY. In the eyes of these owners of Kenya any attempt to empower the hollo polloi would be akin to sharpening the very knife whose blades they will be forced to kiss. In the eye of their twisted minds they must keep any trace and smell of blood from the sharks’ path.
The present haemorrhage is singularly traceable to absentee president. Kibaki is not his won man and what he mouths has no correlation to his deeds nor past. Kibaki is merely a robot and handle to his buddies to advance their selfish interests.
Mischeif in chief
Only true LEADERHIP (not rulership) will see Kenya out of her present crisis. Ours is a country crying out for selfless and true focussed leadership since independence. Kibaki was weaned and nurtured on cheap capitalism that starts and end in shameless material accumulation. Nyerere won’t have been more right with his reference to Kenya as man-eat-man society. While Jomo unwittingly derided him, Tanzanians must be having the last and longest sweet laugh the monster gobbles us whole.
We are simply paying the ultimate price of deception. But trust ingenious Kenyans to gloss over vices and transform them into national virtues. Kibaki’s old cronies ridding the Kenyan wheel are the unrivalled masters of that game. And they reason best by contrast. The ruling masters will do anything to have us remain downtrodden so that they continue raping us to the last drop of blood.
However long it takes, Kenya as presently ruled cannot stand. None of our institutions is sustainable. The ELECTION THEIVES may postpone Kenya’s collapse but it will surely come down with a deafening thud unless we use the present crisis as a launching pad to shape the Kenya we want. No amount of selective application of logic will wash.
Multipartism was ILLIGAL until section 2A was repealed. Hiding under the present tattered constitution is to engage in reverse logic of denial and MISCHIEF IN CHIEF. Acknowleging a weakness is strength and truth never mutates. But that must be old music to scoundrels and serial liars. Not for long, Kenyans will see this dream come true.
Time to start arming wanaichi, kama mbaya mbaya kibaki MUST DIE.
ReplyDeleteTime to take back our country wanaichi arise, revolution will never be televised. Ngoja muone
Long before Kibaki, their was life in Kenya, albeit primitive, but it was life nonetheless. Life will still be here when he is long gone, but whose life is he gambling in preserving his quest to sustain his cronies?
ReplyDeleteI suggest you follow PNU at your own peril. They will certainly not last, not beyond the old man.
War will not bring a coalition, if Kenyans want that coalition to come they must all unite, and that also means involving their so called enemies, and pushing for a solution. Kenyans take for granted the peace they have enjoyed, that is why they are quick to go to fight, without looking at the long term consequences
ReplyDeleteDear Taabu and fellow ODMers,
ReplyDeleteIf you think you can impose Raila on Kenyans by force please find another worthwhile cause. If must insist on an ODMer leading Kenya, then there are other leaders who can take you to the promised house upon the hill besides Tausi/Kaburu Raila. If you keep on insisting on this man leading you, then you will keep on going in circles in the wilderness until your generation is no more. Like his father, Raila is totally unacceptable to majority of Kenyans for a number of reasons:
1. He is prone to violence and uses the most down-trodden of his followers to perpetrate that violence. In 1982 he used his tribesmen in the lowest ranks in the Air Force in a coup attempt that left 1500 Kenyans dead. Most of them either died in the effort or were hanged and, were it not for the intervention of President Obote Raila would have been hanged in Kamiti as well like the other ploters. This time round you all know the brutality his most lowly followers have used to kill Kenyans and the Kenyan image.
2. His politics are not based on desire for democratic change but are driven by a strange and an unhealthy greed for power. When Wamalwa defeated him for the seat of Ford-K chairmanship, he ran away with his tribe to form NDP. Soon he was off to surppoting dictator Moi in exchange for the Kisumu Molasses factory and a promise of the presidency after Moi. After realising his naivety with regard to Moi giving him presidency, he was off again shouting Kibaki Tosha. This time it was for a promise of Prime Minister position. Blindened by greed and delusion he did not realize that the position did not exist in our constitutional order. Come 2003 and he was all over mannerlessly crying that Kibaki had short-changed him. Soon he was to equate Kibaki to Kikuyus and himself to Kenyans - and the cry changed to Kikuyus have short-changed other Kenyans. You all know too well where that tribal talk has led Kenya. Finally, 27th Dec 2007 came, despite roping together all Kikuyu haters to vote for him, Kibaki whipped his naked political bottom. This time Raila has, however, outdone his usual self. He has presided over the largest massacre and evictions by his followers of innocent Kenyans since independence. In addition, he has cried to the muzungu international community that this time if he does not get power, Kenya is going to go down with him. It seems the muzungus have sided with him if only to continue to have a peaceful Kenya where they can continue to come for easy business deals and steamy sex in the sun. Whether he will succeed in grabbing power undemocratically is the big question. What Raila, his followers, and the intimidated muzungus forget is that Raila has no monopoly on violence. Let them know urgently that the patience of the silent majority who voted against him has a limit, and they are about to cross that limit.
3. Raila is a vengeful man. If you doubt, ask any Luo politician who has failed to support Raila's mornachical agenda. He was even foolish enough to promise the Merus revenge in broad day light during the campaigns last year. It is well known that he cries at night saying that he does not know what he will tell his father in the afterlife if he dies before ascending to state house. He had delusionally promised his father in the presence of Luo elders that he will ascend to state house and avenge his father for the "wrongs" done to him by the Kikuyus. It is sad especially because Ida has to bear this burden every night.
For these reasons, dear ODMers, you can see that Raila does not fit the profile of the type of leader majority of Kenyans are looking for. The majority of the Kenyans do not care about the tribe of the leader; all they want is a foward looking, unifying leader who is not carrying a personal and a dangerous psychological baggage. Any one of the pentagon leaders will do but not Tausi/Kaburu Raila.
And as for those who think it is Kibaki and his cronies, you would be very suprised to hear that there are hardliners on both sides who only want kibaki or only want raila, those kenyans who give a damn must rise above petty argument, and start to push the leaders to reach a consensus. and that is possible through collective action. Identifying the problem helps the solution but isnt the solution....
ReplyDeleteDude,
ReplyDeleteLet's go back to the issue, Raila won the elections. Period! He might as well form a Parallel Government if these talks collapse. Then you can bring it on!
Class war in Kenya
ReplyDeleteChris has put it very well
Do you ever reason Why Mutula kilonzo is in the talks?
This conflict is between ODM and PNU.
Mutula belongs to ODM-K
But this is the catch. He represents/a lawyer for Moi,Biwott a and the looters in Kenya.
It therfore turns out that what we have as mispresented as tribal conflict is actually a class war.
Thanks Cris for putting it very clearly. Pray for Kibaki as right now, he may not have much else to get out of this mess.Pressure that leads to Poor Health may save him in due course. But,yet the all stops at his door
If Raila won the election i dont see why he's so adamant on having power now, good things come to those who wait, he chose the wrong moment to seize power he should have worked on Kenyans mpaka 2012, and i bet you 80% would have voted him in plain and simple
ReplyDeleteMwivi Kibaki and his Mungiki clan will not accept power-sharing.
ReplyDeleteKenyans should expect the worst during the next 8 years. I predict a civil war. Kikuyus against Kenya. Injustice against democracy. Corrupt against clean blood. Glut against hard working. Thugs against angels. Devil worshippers against God-fearing. Mafia against innocent citizens. Mungiki against democrats
Ladies and gentle men, let's start from what we know and move outward to what we don't.
ReplyDelete1. We know for sure that the Hon. Raila Odinga won the elections.
2. We know that Mr. Kibaki won't turn over power because he is not his own man. He has to answer to a coterie of Mt. Kenya tycoons who won't entertain the idea of a Raila presidency. and he has to answer to Lucy.
3. We know that in the ongoing negotiations, the Hon Odinga has acted in the best interest of the nation. I say so because he had the right to insist that he won and demand that he be sworn in. But he realized that he was dealing with a bunch of men and women who didn't care whether Kenya burned or not, so he took the high road by agreeing to negotiate with suicidal thieves. When the history of Kenya is written, it wiil be said that the Hon. Odinga took a bullet in his heart for Kenya.
4. We also know now that the international community sees Kenya as a strategic nation.
What we don't know is what Lucy Kibaki is thinking. What Michuki is thinking. What Karume and Moi and Biwott are thinking. If we did, we'd have a better idea where we are going from here.
But make no mistake, Kenyans are ready to fight hard to preserve the democratic gains they've worked tirelessly over the years to put in place.
God bless Kenya!
That's the real Sam Okello and I'm gone for the day. If you see another post by my name, it will be an impersonator.
Anon@12.00, what you are saying is that Raila is not a leader, Right?
ReplyDeleteIs that the reason why he is able of pull half of the countries voters to his side?
He has also contaminated his wife Ida, whereby she is calling shots, wondering where, what, how Lucy is doing.
Raila is a king maker, THAT`S WHAT ODM`ers believe but with or without Raila, Kenyans need change and are tired of status quo. "Laisezz faire" type of administration is colonialist and has no room in the future of Kenyan particularly in the 21st century. As you have said, there is one point i agree with you fully and Raila is not an exception. I quote "It seems the muzungus have sided with him if only to continue to have a peaceful Kenya where they can continue to come for easy business deals and steamy sex in the sun." end of quote.
We definately need new leadership in Kenya that has nothing to do with all these OLD Men, re-cycled from OLD KANU. They are a pity. Power, power, power hungry and they have no interest at heart of the common man.
AFTER 45 YRS, 80% OF KENYANS HAVE NO ELECTRICITY IN THEIR HOMES, NO CLEAN RUNNING WATER, NO HEALTH PLAN, come on, and every Kenyan owes the World Bank and IMF more than $15,000, money that we do not even know how we got indebted in the first place. Every Kenyan future is already mortgaged.
The whole idea of power belongs to the citizens. WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING, MY DEAR, FELLOW KENYANS.
WE RISE UP, AND RE-CLAIM OUR COUNTRY. Full Stop...!
You have said everything and nothing has come out of your wishes. Kibaki will remain president and nothing will poush him out. He has one argument. Whether you like it or not- CONSTITUTION. That is what ODM think they can bend now to achieve short-cut glory. It will never happen. There is no sharing power and it can never happen that the President cedes his powers to allow an impostor as PM with mopre powers than him. Never!
ReplyDeleteKibaki will remain president for as long as it takes. Now, if the politicians cannot agree on this and they are on their own for four weeks, what of the CONSTITUITION? It will take a generation!!!!

RAILA IS THE TRULY ELECTED KENYAN PRESIDENT.
ReplyDeleteKIBAKI HAS OVERTURNED THE GOVT. HE WILL FACE TREASON CHARGES and that's why he was shitting in his pants, when he met CONDI.
EVEN the real capitalists like the British, Australians, Canadians, US-Amis have accepted that the social democrat (Raila) was openly elected by the majority of Kenyans.
Kibaki's coup de tat on Raila's gov will be seriously penalized in 2 yrs.
I CAN SEE THIS PNU FOOL IS CONFUSED- CHECK WHO HAS ACTIVATED THE MUNGIKI TO KILL INNOCENT KENYANS WHICH THEY DID WITH VENGEANCE!!! AND YOU SAY RAILA IA VENGEFUL!!!
ReplyDeleteALLOW ME TO SAY I WILL JOIN RAILA IN THAT VENGEANCE AGAINST THE MUNGIKI'S AND THE POWER GREEDY KIKUYU'S IN KENYA!! YES YOU PERSONALLY WATCH YOUR BACK- FOR NOW MOST KENYANS FEEL LIKE ME!!!

Dear Taabu and fellow ODMers,
Kenya govt activates murder gang-activist
Wed 9 Jan 2008, 14:49 GMT
[-] Text [+] By Barry Moody
NAIROBI, Jan 9 (Reuters) - Kenya's embattled government has activated a murderous criminal gang to protect its supporters during a bloody confrontation over disputed elections, a leading human rights activist said on Wednesday.
Maina Kiai, head of the government-funded National Commission on Human Rights, said the Mungiki, an ethnic Kikuyu gang notorious for beheading its victims, had returned.
"They are coming out again and being used by the state. We have firm evidence of that, some of their people came to us," he said.
Government spokesman Alfred Mutua angrily denied the claim: "If there is evidence of Mungiki, he should either table it -- and he had better make sure that it is the right evidence -- or just shut up."
There have been unconfirmed reports of Mungiki attacks on other ethnic groups in Nairobi's slums since violence erupted after the disputed re-election of President Mwai Kibaki in a Dec. 27 poll. About 500 people have died.
Many Kikuyus were killed in the Rift Valley and Nairobi's slums as other ethnic groups vented their rage over what they say was a rigged result.
Experts have long said the Mungiki were manipulated by Kikuyu politicians. They were first established to counter violence by Kalenjin ethnic gangs during elections in the 1990s, when Daniel arap Moi, himself a Kalenjin, was president.
But last year the human rights commission said police may have executed as many as 500 men during a crackdown on the Mungiki after the gang terrorised central Kenya with a wave of brutal attacks. Police denied the charge.
Kiai said the government had offered the Mungiki protection in the future if they protected Kikuyus against supporters of opposition leader Raila Odinga, who says he won the vote.
"They are now assured of security even afterwards. They said 'Okay we will not touch you again. We will not go for you as we did before'," he said.
Kiai called on Western powers to revoke visas for members of the Kibaki government, senior members of the civil service and their families as well as opposition figures.
He said this was the only way to push politicians into negotiating an end to Kenya's post-election crisis.
"Bring them back to suffer with us. Maybe then they will be forced into talking to each other," he said. "If all visas are revoked you will see movement so fast, you won't believe it. Many of them think 'I have a valid visa to the UK. If things get really bad I am off.' They need to have the same stakes as us." (Additional reporting by Wangui Kanina; editing by Janet Lawrence
Please ODM followers there is no armageddon coming. Stop psyching yourselves into a genocidal state. Find some work to do. If you are unemployed find some charity work to occupy your time otherwise the devil of tribalism and genocide will continue to build a palace in your heart. And Raila will just be too happy assisting him. Even if you kill all the Kikuyus, Akambas, and Kisiis you will eat the loot for only a few months and then you will be back to finding somebody else to blame for your misery. First, learn to work hard and then if someone steals from you you can cry for help. But stop sleeping, then waking up empty handed and crying that someone must have stolen from you.
ReplyDeleteSecond, avoid this coalition business because it is for the benefit of warlords like Raila and their wives. A new constitution, yes! Coalitions of warlords, No!!
Most of you think Raila is Noal and ODM is the ark. It is time to smell the coffee of reality - with coalitions, Raila and Ida will be eating while you will be back to scratching your fleas against the mud walls of a thatched hut.
YES MANY GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT!! BUT WHEN THERE NO THIEVES, THUGS AND MURDERER'S TO PREVENT THEM FROM GETTING THE GOOD THINGS- RAILA WAITED 2002-2007 HE GOT IT CLEAN SWEEP AND AN UGLY THUG STOLE THE ELECTIONS FROM HIM!!
ReplyDeleteDOWN WITH KIBAKI- TIME OUT! KENYANS ARE TIRED-

Friends,
ReplyDeleteIt is now clear that Kibaki, his cronies, PNU and ODM-K are not interested in any power sharing arrangement with ODM. They are out to frustrate Dr. Kofi Annan and its mediation effort by falling back on the constitution. ..that they are willing to share power only if the constitution allows or if it could be amended to accommodate such arrangement. We know ODM does not have 2/3 majority of MPs in parliament and will not get support from PNU and ODM-K to make any needed constitutional amendments to allow the sharing of power to take place. For power sharing to be successful, it needed goodwill from Kibaki and his cronies. That will not happen! Kibaki is not a gentleman, he has not been one before and he will never be one. If he could not take into account the possible hardships of his tribesmen/women who are spread throughout the country before allowing his Mt. Kenya mafia to rig the elections, he will not blink his eye for anything that will diminish his imperial powers! This will behavior will finally mangle the country! This is very sad indeed. Kibaki, PNU and ODM-K seem not to internalize the magnitude of the problem the country is facing. They seem not to comprehend that 2/3 of the people of Kenya did not vote for Kibaki and as such do not recognize him as their leader no matter how people like Karua, Watengula, Kilonzo, Kalonzo spew out legal jargon about the constitutionality of power sharing.
Of concern to me is the fact that most people from Central and Eastern provinces have not fully understood that the unrest that engulfed the country has the potential to completely destroy the country. Most people whose ancestry is Central or Eastern and who were most affected by the chaos of rigged elections were not bused to their ancestral homes but IDPs camp were set up within Rift Valley to avoid the wrath from its political base. The government has continued to close other IDPs camps outside of RV while ferrying people to camps in Rift Valley. So, life in Central and Eastern was briefly interrupted and people in these regions see the problem as confined to RV and thus isolated! I was surprised when I had a lengthy discussion with an MP from one of these two regions and that MP casually dismissed any success in the Kofi's mediation process. This MP did not see any need in the formation of another coalition government other than what PNU and ODM-K have already accomplished. This shocked me to the marrow and if this is the kind of thinking across PNU/ODM-K, then pressure brought upon this group will not bear any fruit!
As we see all this unfolding let's remember that God is the Ultimate judge na malipo ni hapa hapa na sio pale pale
God Save Kenya! John

Anon @12.27, Raila is definetly a leader, but is like an ecstacy pill, you hallucinate if you listen to him too much. I voted PNU but, if a majority of Kenyans want Raila fine. He surely will not help to alleviate poverty amongst Kenyans if he cant even do so in his constituency. If Raila had half a heart for his people, he would not have led them to fight and kill, and eventually get killed themselves. If Kenyans want a Raila, they must be prepared for him, because he will possibly be even worse that Moi, Kenyatta and Kibaki combined. He doesnt deserve anymore respect than from that half of the voters that voted for him
ReplyDeleteYOu stupid bitch !!which Kisii are you talking about!! no kisii is with Kibaki except the old fool for MP- Please remove the Kisii name from your filthy smelly lips you kikuyu Mungiki!!
ReplyDeleteKIBAKI MUST MOVE OVER IF HE CAN'T SHARE OR WE WILL REMOVE HIM BY FORCE!!!!

Anon @12.46 - the consitution still exists, it must be factored into the current negotiations, whilst PNU are sounding a bit spoilt at the moment, Kibaki has told them to soften their position, watch NTV and see. Second of all ODM cannot be throwing positions to be created that cannot be put in a constitution! I mean, why have a PM for say 3 years then when fresh elections come we only have a president? we might as well ammend the constitution now, so that there is a permanent 'irreversible' solution until a new constitution is drafted
ReplyDeleteNo need to swear anon @12.50,

Oh whatever anonymous @12.17 Raila stupidly got into a deal with Moi, only to realise that Moi was OUT!!! come what may, Raila made a strategic error, and he didnt wait for 2002-2005, he wanted a prime ministership with powers equal to the president, which was agreed upon in the MOU, he got shafted, got pissed off and left government and formed his own coalition! Understand political gaming my dear, If Raila was clever enough he wouldnt have used an old fashioned oaf of a political strategist like Dick Morris who sells him a cheap strategy that was used in Mexico only two years ago.If Raila was so capable he would have done what Moi did and field a Kikuyu candidate, split the GEMA vote and then win outright, therefore rendering Kibaki useless. Raila alienated some of the biggest communities, that was stupid, he should have kept his friends close and his enemies closer
ReplyDeleteati Raila wants a PM post created with two deputy PM's????????????????
ReplyDeleteRaila needs to stop daydreaming.
can someone honestly xplain to me the point of having 2 deputy PM's? or even a deputy PM? What for?

Some of these PNU (Kikuyu) sympathizers on this blog really give Kenyans a bad name, it is like they are really retarded to think the majority of Kenyans support Kibaki or PNU to begin with the party was put together to give Mwai a chance to be elected and also to allow other opportunists the chance to offer votes from their strongholds. Most failed, (look at all the cabinet ministers sent out home) in the head this party based on bullshit and compiled of corrupt kikuyus had to lure other desperate political prostitutes i.e. kalonzo into the fold and even still they lost. Keep making up all these things you want to say about Raila and ODM, but it is the only party that walk on its own without having to bend-over and kiss ass. You silly kyuks make Raila look better by the day both internally and externally. The whole world knows he won, and is the President of the People's Republic of Kenya. Kibaki is the president of thieves so go on and keep chanting his name, but if you don't find sense in your simple minds, when that war comes, even with Kenya army and corrupt police officers, all ODM needs is western support and its game over. Please take a history lesson, if you can find time from stealing, you silly PNU fools. Finally its a shame that the biggest man in PNU is Martha Karua!!

Anon @12:00 Most nonane argument I have ever seen put forth, guess it makes you sleep well at night, then so be it.
ReplyDeleteKIBAKI HAS ALREADY KILLED TO MANY INNOCENT KENYANS WITH HIS SHOOT TO KILL ORDER TO THE POLICE! E IS ALREADY GOING TO HELL!!! THE GUY JUST WANTS TO HAVE THE PRIVILEGE TO SEND HIM THERE FASTER!! which I think most Kenyans will appreciate except for kikuyu's even kilonzo musyoka will be happy it will be a big opportunity for him!!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous Anonymous said...
anon @1.08pm stop wasting our time saying you want to assasinate Kibaki or die for the cause of removing Kibaki, lets see if you'll go to heaven for services rendered or to hell for commiting suicide
HA!!HA!!HA!! WHAT A LAUGH - ALIENATED WHO?? LETS GET STRAIGHT HERE THE OTHER COMMUNITIES HAVE NEVER AND WILL NEVER VOTE FOR THIEVES, MURDERER'S AND THUGS!! GET REAL!!
ReplyDeleteRAILA IS A TRUE STATESMAN-
KIBAKI IS A THUG AND A THIEVE
NO COMPARISON AT ALL!!

Why did Annan meet Kibaki today before resuming at the negotiation table?
ReplyDeleteThat the government sent out their FINAL position on the negotiation-the current constitution is supreme in Kenya, frightened him
He realized that his was a concluded job.Whatever is decided on that negotiation table is for the paapers and pens.Somany think. Not least PNU.Time delayers in all this.
For a start, his good ideas/suggestions will only work if he gets the 67% majority in parliament. Can he?
Can ODM get that majority?
Will ODm act against "good practices" that "respect" law?
I think these talks are a waste of time-so long as the contitutional route is taken. It will not yield any results!
It is a political crises that requires a political solution. The sooner ODM realises this, the sooner they have the negotiating advantage.
Being mute when the "constitutional" bait was thrown at them is a serious weakness that they made on Tuesday 18th feb 2008.Seems Karua not simple.
So what is the way forward
1. establishment of the Republic of Kenya (2 out of 8 Provinces in Kenya get the other Republic)
2.Sad-but war, at whatever level.I hate the reality
Kenya must move forward, and it is surprising how those at the negotiating table can never grasp it.
As darling Condi said, Kenyans want a solution yesterday. not tomorrow
This "yesterday" is also a problem-PNU want to buy time.ODM want it when it is hot.War is a real possibility in Kenya. The warriors as reported in the Uk papers are getting impatient. The Kikuyu business people are getting impatient.(these are Kikuyus by name!).Everybody wants their life back.Soon
That is where PNU are having a problem.Denying them time, deny them options
The game continues. But for how long.
This is surely a week of reckoning
how can raila be pro-tribalism, ODM consists of every tribe with the exceptions kyuks and kambas who think stealing is the way to go,compare ODM the party with PNU the coalition. Luo, Luhya, kalenjin, Kamba, Kisi, coast membership vs. GEMA, a few kamba peasants to form a coalition that still is barely equates to more than ODM the party. Ok Raila is the tribalist, I see it. Raila, luo campaigned for mwai, kyuk. Yup tribalist. Now might he harbor some tribal inclinations, im sure he like probably all kenyan politicians do, but does he allow tribe to direct his politics? Not so sure about that. Key ministries in crook gov't, let's see, hmm yup all kyuks and now a couple peasant kambas hmm interesting. As far as vote rigging, if ODM did in fact rig (which there are indications that they did ) why were they the only ones demanding for the votes to be scrutinize while PNU and kamba peasant kalonzo were urging for results to be announced? Surely at the very least all votes in areas of questioned should have been scrutinized no?
ReplyDeleteI WILL CALL ANYONE WHO USES MY TRIBES NAME FOR GAIN AND IN VAIN!! names to me I feel satisfied when I bitch on them as is!! on the other hand if you want to support this thieving thugs then so be it- don't tell me what to say on Kumekucha!! you go ahead and learn the trade of lying and stealing with them- since you seem to be standing up for them KIKUYU's!!
ReplyDeleteAnonymous Anonymous said...
heeee! i didnt spew kisii lies myself, I just think you dont need to call people bitches to emphasize your point, otherwise it becomes weak
Anon @1.27, If Raila was such a statesman he would have never jeopardised Kenyans in 1982 by trying to create anarchy and military rule, if he was such a statesman, he would have put the needs of this state before his own, like other leaders such as Nyerere and Mandela have and if he was such a statesman, he would not be such a political whore, moving from party to party and colluding with so called enemies such as Moi and Kibaki
ReplyDeleteAgain you are jumping ahead!!PNU called Annan again!! game over- it is KIlonzo who wants to be included in the power-sharing!!
ReplyDeletebut PNU has to decide now whether to keep him as VP or not!!
to be or not to be is where KIlonzo's position is now!!
Anonymous Anonymous said...
Why did Annan meet Kibaki today before resuming at the negotiation table?
anon @1.35, I stand up for the innocent people who have been dragged into a power hungry political battle. And yes that involved kikuyu's but it also involves other tribes. If kenyans want change they must start taking charge, and that means removing all these leaders, which includes Raila. We go through the same cycle time after time and I will not want my own children to witness what I am witnessing now. I want them to be as proud as I am of being Kenyan
ReplyDeleteRaila is pro-tribalist because he supported ethnic inuendo's being used by his partners and his vision is full of mud slinging campaigns against members of certain communities. I dont see why one community must pay for the selfish actions of their leaders, many of your so called GEMA and kamba peasants are hard working people who identify themselves as Kenyans first and will fight for Kenya, not for their tribal kinsmen. and anon@1.34, PNU did scrutinize the rigging process but chose to do it through the courts at a later date. I understand that because they won there was no urgency but surely ODM could have handled this differently? Watching a BBC news item showing an ODM supporter sharpening a panga on the road and saying only Raila made me realise that it doesnt matter whether Raila compromises or not, ODM supporters will kill anyone who is against him, regardless
ReplyDeletePNU?? are you for real?? or confused - thatIS what it took to fight for democracy for your stupid thieving KIBAKI to be handed over 2002 presidency while in a wheel chair!! I hate small brains YAWN!! I don't have time to educate you!!
ReplyDeleteha!!ha!! did you really go to school or what?? did you know how long ANC fought while sabotaging many factories and the war that they fought to get Mandela out!!
and many innocent people died in demonstration!!- keep stuffing your head in the sand- that is why kenyans will not allow KIBAKI ILLEGAL PRESIDENCY!!

Annan met Kibaki prob to make him soften his position, PNU were being rigid
ReplyDeleteProvide proof that Kibaki stole the election in 2002 then ill shut up, and yes i did go to school, and have enough qualifications to be seating at that negotiation table on both sides! I really dont care whether you think my brain is small many people do not and that goes for Raila even if 4 million think he is incompetent as a leader there are still 4 million that dont, and I respect that, do not insult my intelligence because i dont insult yours despite us having different views. I stand by my point, Kibaki was chosed by the opposition at the time to field the presidency, he did so, even if there were mixed results, Kibaki was on a wheelchair because of suffering a stroke and an accident that could have killed him. Do not use his health as a reason to say that Raila should have been president in 2002, Raila did not field himself, he was with KANU and then the NARC coalition, and he got shafted fullstop! you are trying to rewrite history but the past can never be rewritten
ReplyDeleteis it me who is noticing the mungiki sharpening their panga's in NAKURU, NAIVASHA, NAIROBI KIBERA on BBC, CNN,and Reuters or only THE KIKUYU'S didn't see this because they are so tribalistic!! who are the people who say that they can't be ruled with an uncircumcised man- when at the same time either there sisters and daughters are screwed by the same uncircumcised men and produce children!! now which is which!! and who are the most tribalistic tribe in Kenya!!
ReplyDeleteHOW MANY OTHER TRIBES OWN LARGE BUSINESS IN CENTRAL PROVINCE?? NAME EVEN 1!! IF THEY TRIED !THEY WOULD BE DEAD NOW!!

raila did not participate in the 1982 coup!!weren't we told the masterminds were from a tribe on everyone's lips right now!!raila even said he was gonna sue moi for defaming him!!
ReplyDeleteanyway that point can be argued till dawn and no one will provide a shred of evidence to prove he did.
wacheni kumchafulia jina!!
and those of you who are waiting for raila to be named the minister for sports in kibaki's illegitimate government you have another thing coming....ati awe errand boy wa kibaki?
ReplyDeletemnaota!
I just purchased a three .50 caliber rifles with all the optics and all. Can shoot a mofo from 2000 yards away. Lets wait and see what these PANUA thieves are upto and we shall invoke a revolution in Kenya with A BIG BANG!!
ReplyDeleteAnon@ 1.55 Mungiki are even killing and raping Kikuyu's so stop saying that kikuyu' s are all supporting them, the truth is arent and even those that are are doing so because kikuyu's have been killed because they are KIKUYU and that will obviously bring out anger. I dont condone mungiki's actions, but you have to also look at the bigger picture, this has become a bitter war spilling innocent blood, and you know what? not all kikuyu's complain about uncircumsised men! And why do you put that label tribalistic people? generalising doenst say anything because there are kikuyu's who are not, who are married to people from other tribes. The point is dont blame every single kikuyu for the mistakes of people who belong to the tribe kikuyu, blame the individuals, that is when you have a democracy, and no war has ever been stopped by clobbering each other to death, it has been stopped with a truce, and even kikuyu's know that
ReplyDeletemrembowaodm, you are naive, a liar and disgruntled. Raila Odinga himself in his memoirs adm, itted that he was actually involved in the coup and all his friends ran away to Norway and Sweden. Dont be a liar. Read Raila's book and stop puking things you dont know. THAT IS PART OF THE UNWRITTEN LAW THAT.....RAILA WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT...SECONDLY, HE IS A COMMUNIST...THIRDLY FIDEL CASTRO HAS BEEN LEADER FOR 50 YEARS while KIBAKI has been there for 5 years and you are crying for regime change. which one should go first the communist revolution in CUBA of Democracy in Kenya?
ReplyDeleteNGUMU SANA!!!! Mtaamka. Mmmesema revolution, Derek calls them KIKOSI BALAAA (GSU) wako njini, uliza watu wa Kisumu na KIbera. Nguo zilichanika.

2. Alfred Mutua and family
3. Michuki
4. Senile Kibaki to top it all.
I see alot of kenyans reading these threads and laughing it all off until when real shyte will hit the fan.
mrembowaodm, Raila himself linked himself to the coup attempt and MP's were actually calling him to be tried for treason but it was decided against by the govt. He was nearly hanged! I dont expect Raila to get such a post hehe obviously he wouldnt accept what kibaki did to him last time. HE will probably get VP or minister for finance or something of the sort

you people who want to shoot then just kill PNU then 21% of the population who are kikuyu as they are they are sooooo bad, then proceed to shoot kikuyu sympathisers and tribes who voted PNU, then take a good look and see whether you solve anything
ReplyDeleteI TELL YOU WHAT...EVEN IF THEY AGREE ON A PM, KIBAKI CAN DECIDE TO NAME pOGISHIO AS PM, AND RAILA, MINISTER FOR WATER OR LIVESTOCK OR EVEN FISHERIES. KIBAKI IS NOT OBLIGATED BY ANY LAW TO NAME RAILA. IN ACTULA SENSE, IT IS NOT A MUST THAT RAILA IS IN THE CABINET. THE KLENYAN CONSTITUTION SAYS THAT THE PRESIDENT APPOINTS HIS CABINET FROM ELECTED MEMEMBERS AND THAT IS WHY KALONZO LANDED THERE. NGOJA MUONE MAKUBWA.
ReplyDeleteTaabu, with all due respect, let us subject fault where it exists. Let us not follow the habit of absolving criminals. We were told that Moi is good but Biwott and others around him are bad. Hiyo ni mambo ya uongo.
ReplyDeleteThe truth is that Kibaki is the captain of the ship that brings Kenya to the bottom of the Sea of Democracy. No one else is at fault.
WE ARE READY TO SNIPE THE " MT. KENYA MAFIA BLOKE" WHEN THAT TIME COMES!!!

ReplyDeletesorry anon 2.11 and 2.12 calling me a disgruntled liar is not helping your cause....as you can read from my post i said no one can provide a shred of evidence...that the 'real president' was involved in the coup!!
ReplyDeleteall you did was tell me he linked himself to the coup in his own memoirs....i said during campaigns he brought up the issue himself and said with his own mouth that he will sue moi for defaming him by linking him to the coup...so do i believe his word or do i believe a book? tough choice!!
i obviously haven't read his memoirs people-so maybe that makes me naive 2.11, but like i said this issue will never be resolved by anyone if they dont present conclusive evidence all it is to me is just a rumour!!
oh 2.21 i totally agree with your post!!
ReplyDeletei have said it time and again kibaki knows what he is doing he can behave like a sheep all he wants but he is the one causing all these mayhem. lucy michuki karua et al are just his scapegoats.
let nobody ever cheat themselves kibaki was an innocent bystander in any of this-he is guilty!!

PNU is now desperate enough to start "talking tough" to the United States. In reality that is the bravado of someone who having run out of options has nothing to lose. That alone should put everyone on notice that these guys are not going until Kenyans(excluding Kiuks of course) are forced to use the last option left to them.
ReplyDeleteWhen all is said and done there shall be a war in Kenya. The PNU demons will not vanish without a real fight.
This looks like a big shouting match. It won't solve anything. I'm guaranteeing you that if a new wave of violence erupts, it will definately sweep the ODM Pentagon away for good. Mark my words!
ReplyDelete-PNU Insider.
Kibaki, if you were thinking it's simple to steal democracy and stay comfortable, you were thinking wrong.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be curious to see an immediate swearing in, with the MC actually compelling others to hurry because the cover of darkness is around the corner. Oh, before I forget, it is on a Sunday and the guy swearing in the president is the one the aggrieved are supposed to go to for justice. I appeal to your head and not heart.
