For the first time I have been able to get a detailed report of one of Raila’s functions from his recent US trip where he talked about a wide range of issues before he was asked to open the dance with a lady from the audience at a very successful function.
I do not agree with Raila on everything but one of the things he said that had me both laughing and nodding my head was likening the political situation to a football game where President Kibaki is displaying a lot of activity in “injury time” so as to pretend that he has had an effective and good game. My sentiments exactly.
Using soccer analogies, he dismissed president Kibaki’s announcement two weeks ago of an affirmative action plan for women. He said the president has been in office since 2002 and has done nothing and is using “injury time” to appear to be doing something.
ReplyDeleteOOh C'mon, do you live in the Kenya the rest of us live
Kibaki has had his amount of failures but don't make it look like he has done nothing
what would you have done or have attempted to apart from writing this Kibaki hateful blog towards achieving the wellness of Kenya.
At least i know i have done something
Go ahead say it!
Question:
ReplyDeleteIn the title of your post the woman is described as 'strange'. In the article you reference and link to, there is no such description. Were you at the event? How do you know the woman was a 'strange'? Seems like a bit of careless, don't you think? Report facts as facts. If its your opinion, state it as such.
