Ruto's Secret Plan to Scrap Presidential Term Limits, Kill Your Vote and Give All Power to Parliament Exposed

Ruto's Secret Plan to Kill Your Vote and Give All Power to Parliament Exposed

Stop and read this slowly. Something huge is being planned for Kenya right now. It is quiet. It is secret. And if it succeeds, you may never directly choose a president again.

That is not my opinion. That is the warning at the centre of this story. A plan is in motion to change the Constitution of Kenya. Not to give you more power. But to take power away from you and hand it to politicians in Parliament.

Think about that for a minute. For years you have queued in long lines. In the sun. In the rain. You have waited for hours to vote for president. You believed your vote was your voice. Now imagine waking up one day and being told you no longer have that right. That a small group of members of parliament will now choose the president for you behind closed doors. That is what is at stake.

And the most shocking part is how they plan to do it. They do not need your permission in a big national referendum where everyone is watching. They plan to use a hidden door in the law. A door called Article 257. This door allows the Constitution to be changed through the 47 county assemblies. Yes, the same county assemblies in your local town.

Why county assemblies? Because that is where ordinary people are not looking. National television will not cover it every day. Big newspapers will not shout about it. It can be done quietly, county by county, until suddenly it is law. By the time you hear about it, it is already finished.

Let me explain this in very simple language. Kenya is now a presidential system. That means you, the ordinary citizen, have the final power to choose the president. One person, one vote. Your vote counts the same as a billionaire's vote. That is your strength.

A parliamentary system sounds very nice on paper. People will tell you it is cheaper. People will tell you it removes a powerful presidency. People will tell you it will end tribal competition for State House. It sounds sweet. It sounds wise. But do not be fooled by sweet words.

Here is the hidden truth. In a parliamentary system, you do not vote for president directly. You vote for a member of parliament. Then those members of parliament go to Nairobi and choose the prime minister or president among themselves. Do you see the trick? Your power stops at the ballot box for MP. After that, the real decision is made by politicians trading favours with each other.

Who controls members of parliament in Kenya? Money does. Party leaders do. Secret deals do. An ordinary poor citizen in Turkana or Kisii or Mombasa cannot call a member of parliament and tell him who to choose. But a rich and powerful man can. He can offer money. He can offer a cabinet job. He can offer protection. So the choice of the leader moves from 22 million voters to less than 400 politicians sitting in one building.

Ask yourself a simple question. Which group is easier to bribe and control? 22 million Kenyans spread across the whole country? Or 349 members of parliament sitting in Nairobi hotels? The answer will shock you but it is clear. It is far cheaper and far easier to control 349 people than to control an entire nation.

That is why the county assemblies are the perfect tool. Have you ever followed what happens in your county assembly? Most Kenyans have not. Most people cannot even name their MCA. And that is exactly why they were chosen for this job. Reports have shown for years that many county assemblies struggle with money problems, with pressure, with orders from governors and party bosses. If someone with deep pockets wants a vote to pass, where would he go? Would he go to 22 million alert Kenyans? Or would he go to small assemblies where a few dozen votes can be quietly managed?

This is not a guess. This has been tried before. In 2017 and 2018, a powerful economist led a serious push to change the Constitution through county assemblies. The plan was real. It was moving county by county. It was only stopped when two top leaders shook hands and everything froze. That story is public history. Now look at where that same economist is today. He is sitting very close to the current power. Does that not surprise you? Does that not make you ask what is coming next?

People will tell you this change is about saving money. They will tell you it is about ending the big fight for presidency every five years. They will tell you it is about unity. Please do not believe sweet stories without asking who benefits. If the people lose the right to directly elect the president, who gains? The political class gains. The party owners gain. The deal-makers gain. You lose.

Think of your vote like the title deed to your land. Right now you hold it in your hand. A parliamentary trick is like someone telling you, give me your title deed, I will keep it safe for you in Nairobi. Will you give it? No. You will never give your land paper to a stranger. Then why would you give your political title deed, your presidential vote, to 349 strangers?

There is another reason they want this now. And this is where it gets even more shocking. The people of Kenya have changed. They are no longer asleep. They are no longer easily fooled by old slogans. Young people are asking hard questions. Old people are also waking up. A new name is on everyone's lips. A name that was not planned by the owners of power. That name has created panic at the top. And when the top panics, it tries to change the rules of the game before the game is lost.

That is why timing matters in politics. Nothing happens by accident. When you see an old politician suddenly shouting on television, do not just listen to his words. Ask why now? Why this week? Why this month? The answer is almost always connected to something bigger happening quietly in the background.

The political class in Kenya has one big problem today. And it is not the economy. It is not the opposition. It is not even the next election. Their big problem is you. Yes, you. The ordinary citizen. Because you have refused to stay quiet. You have refused to just clap and go home. You question tenders. You question debts. You question abductions. You question lies. To a person who wants to "eat" public money in peace, a questioning citizen is a big obstacle.

So what do you do if you are powerful and the people have become too awake? You have two choices. You can change yourself and serve the people honestly. Or you can change the law to reduce the power of the people. Which one do you think is easier for a greedy system? Changing themselves is hard. Changing the law through quiet county votes is easy.

That is the evil genius of this plan. It does not come with guns. It does not come with soldiers in the streets. It comes with lawyers, with papers, with nice English words like reform and dialogue and inclusivity. But the result is the same. Less power for you. More power for them.

Let me give you a simple example you will never forget. Imagine a football match where one team realizes it is about to lose badly because the crowd is supporting the other side. What does the losing team do? If it cannot win fairly, it tries to change the referee, change the field, or change the rules at half-time. That is exactly what is happening in Kenya. When they saw the mood of the ground shifting, they started thinking of changing the rules instead of changing their behaviour.

And here is the part that should amaze you. They are not even hiding their fear. They are openly saying the people are a problem. They are openly trying to push big national conversations back into small boardrooms. They want elders and party owners to decide for you who should lead you. They want to go back to the days when three men sat in a hotel and divided power while you watched on television.

But Kenyans have moved on. The ground has shifted. Something happened that cannot be reversed. The people have tasted their own power. Once a person knows his strength, you cannot make him forget it.

Now I know you are asking, what proof is there? What shows this plan is real? What connects all these sudden attacks and statements? Who is working with who? And why is one particular young leader being targeted from all sides at the same time?

That is the part I cannot put in writing here because it is too explosive and too detailed. The names, the meetings, the county strategy, the role of county assemblies, and the final move they want to make before 2027 are all explained step by step in the video.

If you care about your vote, if you care about your children choosing their president, you must watch that video to the end. What you will hear in the last ten minutes will leave you frozen. Do not scroll past this. Click play now. Your vote is on the line.
