The Danson Mungatana saga coming at around the same time parliament is discussing giving more money to former legislators highlights the plight of legislators who lose their parliamentary seats and the serious financial woes they usually end up with. Why should some of the best paid parliamentarians in the world end up in poverty and desperation?
