Some political pundits have often compared the circumstances surrounding Daniel arap Moi's Vice presidency with what DP Ruto now finds himself faced with. And they have tried to use this to predict Ruto's future. Still there are some subtle differences and in any case we are talking about two Rift Valley politicians with very different characters.
