The council of governors in Kenya is supposed to have politicians who are very much aware of the reality on the ground and what needs to be prioritized as East African economies struggle to recover from the economic damage inflicted by the virus crisis. The same should apply to opposition leaders in Tanzania. And that is why what they are saying sounds strange and out of touch with reality.
