Muigai wa Njoroge's hit song Mbari ya Kimendero reawakens memories of the song by Joseph Kamaru that was banned by the Jomo Kenyatta government
History always repeats itself. Muigai wa Njoroge has just released a song hitting out at impunity in the Jubilee government. This reminds older Kenyans of the time when Joseph Kamaru sung a song that criticized the Jomo Kenyatta government which promptly banned it. Bottom line, change is around the corner...
