Even Kumekucha Feared To Publish These Photos

archive

Regulars of this blog know that I never shrink from saying or publishing anything. However there are limits.

I have an arrangement with this particular site to use their photographs in Kumekucha and give credit to them. But I couldn't just bring myself to re-publishing these particular photographs here.

Let me warn you that you are about to view some rather explicit photographs. And yet it all happened in the streets in Mombasa in broad daylight.

If you have kids around I suggest that you ask them to leave the room before you click on the link below.

Two of these photos were first published in The Weekly Citizen but you are about to view the whole lot including many that were not used in the Citizen.

The story goes that the man was a driver at the Kenya Posts Authority and the woman is the wife of a senior man at the company (the driver's boss). The two lovers parked the car in what they thought was a peaceful part of town, but hawk-eyed wananchi (including the increasing number of Islamic fundamentalists in the town) noticed that there was something strange happening in the car which appeared to be shaking rather vigorously. They then pounced on the couple and caught them red-handed in the act.

The cell phone cameras that are everywhere these days did the rest.

N.B. I have since established that the incident did in fact take place in Kitengela. The confusion was probably brought about by the Kenya Ports Authority link.

See photos of senior KPA manager's wife caught in the act with all the graphic gory details

And more explicit photos here.

  1. Kenya is uncivilized. We demand justice from our leaders and yet we mirth about the lovers and ignore their right of innocence until proven guilty. Truth be told there is little doubt of the allegations, given the hundreds of witnesses who spotted them. None the less their legal and constitutional is violated in the cruelest manner. We even go ahead and mete out instant justice more cruel than that of the worst judicial officers. 'Burn the house. There is a rat in the Kitchen'.

With this banana republic mentality... folks we are going no-where. Forget 2030. Kenyans will continue to reap as they sow; insecurity; corruption; tribal clashes; dehumanizing poverty; etc.

Wake up guys and lets stop playing innocent victim citizens and nurture a culture of civility and not this shame we see here. Up to y'all chaps....

PS: Kumekucha, I read your blog without fail because I find it great. I want to remind you of the yester years of notorious Brit Soccer hooligans. Their shenanigans were in a way fueled by Fleet Streets dalliance with sleaze. This hooliganism worked to the detriments of Brit PR on the Globe.

I believe those entrusted with a reader following have a responsibility to strike a balance between reporting and the lure of juicy trash. Lets not play die with our National soul folks.

  2. I don't in one bit condone adultery but I was not born that way. It is a change I met after I hadn't been an angel. Nevertheless, exposing people in the manner I saw in the pictures is uncivilized. Even people who were escorting and frogg-matching them may be as guilty or probably more guilty than the this unfortunate couple. That kind of shame is not meant for public spectacle, it is a shame to the country.

  3. Chris,

I am a regular reader of Kumekucha and have been with you on many issues, lakini the the photos are a bit too much about the levels of lawlessness we have sunk into as a country. Even animals have decency.

The other issue is that you seem to have been duped into thinking the photos are in Mombasa. You just need to look at the type of trees growing in the area (acacia trees which only thrive in the savannah)as well as the very prominent EA Portland Cement sign to know that this place is Kitengela.

Also the fact that the majority of the people in the photo's are very dark, their manner of dressing and the frenzied excitement reminiscent of the recent Mungiki fights in Kiambu just show that kweli ' hawa sio wa-Pwani'

  4. Dear Friends, I have seen this item before and I wish to clarify that this incident occured in KITENGELA. I work in Kitengela and some of the mob appearing in the photos are well known touts at the Kitengela Terminus. If you look at the background you will see the East African Portland "Blue Triangle" advert also at Kitengela and finally when you look at the trees in the background, they are Acacia trees also a feature in Kitengela and not found in plenty in Mombasa. Anyone claiming the snaps were taken in Mombasa is not telling the truth. K.K

  5. I would not raise a hand on the two "sinners". I would not be the first one to cast a stone. I would rather count my sins. That gory scene of naked people being frogmatched in the streets is uncouth, unpalatable and unfit for human consumption. Those who saw the two as "very" sinners had better have a label "ANGEL" in their backs.

    Nip Two:
I have always had issues with he Minister for Sheria. The girl is still living in the desert of olives unknowingly that others have already gone by. Does she ever stop to think? Instead of being a super guide to the reconcilliation process she fans moto. She should be telling fellow legislators not to comment on the poll violence, IDP issues till full consultations are done and a viable solution is in place. My exceptional love for Martha fades away every second. I may not miss her in a short while. Your kinsmen want to talk to thugs/hooligans in the name of Mungiki of KNY Alliance yet you propose to prosecute even the the maggots that eat the dead bodies. Martha wake up!!! If you have grass in in your small head, take those who were involved in the violence to court and resettle your kinsmen cos they are ill affected. After the jailees come out, jail them again for the the survival of your endagered species.
If you care, preach reconcilliation through harmonizing communities and solving the serious land issues everywhere in the country. Why have the Ngikis been exterminated yet there is law and it protects .... whatever.
