Who Is Financing Kalonzo Musyoka's Bid For The Presidency?
A comment in Mashada posted yesterday about Kalonzo Musyoka and John Harun Mwau caused this writer to go back and do some serious research to ascertain the truth of the same.
The comment was to the effect that John Harun Mwau has financed Kanu for many years and is currently also financing Kalonzo Musyoka. We should be able to find out the truth in the next couple of days from our contacts.
However I would like to point out the fact that this new information does not contradict our coverage on the Kalonzo-Mwau rivalry in Ukambani. In politics, there are no permanent enemies and as somebody here quite rightly pointed out by asking a question, this possibility cannot be ruled out and would make plenty of sense.
The question is simply this; what would you do if you were a drug baron in Kenya? Who would you support for 2007? The answer is very simple. You would give money to all the candidates that have a chance of winning the presidency. That is what Paul Goldenberg Pattni did in 2002. Apart from heavily financing the Kanu campaign, he also made hefty donations to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga's Ford Kenya and God knows who else.
One question that Kenyans voters must ask this time round of all those seeking high office is where their campaign funds are coming from. And if no straight answer is forthcoming then that candidate must be rejected. We already know that sending anybody to State House with such excessive baggage will not serve the interests of the country and will certainly not give us the Kenya we want.
We will continue with our deep analysis of Kalonzo Musyoka tomorrow.
I think you should also ask the same question about Raila i.e. who is financing his political campaign? Also, find out how close Raila is to Archbishop Gilbert Deya-of the famous miraclous pregnancies. Finally, Raila is a very good politician, but a very economist...
ReplyDeleteYou're not reading this blog with an open mind. Just because we said a few nice things in the past about Raila, does not mean this is a Raila blog. My friend, we have said in the article that the drug baron is bound to finance ALL presidential candidates that look like they have a chance. Is Raila not a presidential candidate and therefore included?
ReplyDeleteRaila is no angel, but I don't see how he comes into a Kalonzo analysis at this juncture.
Please be patient, we are analysing all presidential candidates and we will get to Raila and I assure you that we will give him exactly the same treatment we are giving Kalonzo.
Kumekucha.
I had great respect for Kalonzo, but for him to be moving with people who have declared openly to support Kibaki is just a clear indication that Kalonzo's ego is grown so big that he has refused to think. He on his own can not win an election. Julia can not mobilize Kenyans leave a lone win the Funyula seat. Julia's daughter is the brain behind LPK and a member of Kanu the Moi faction. This is simply that Kalonzo has said if I can not be the ODM flag bearer then all ODM candidates should loose. His move is a non starter. I bet come 2008 he will be a compromised person playing last fiddle. He should swallow his pride and join other ODM members to bring down Kibaki. His adamant position is Nascistic, he is just looking at his navel like a toddler. It is also proof that indeed he is toddler because he takes a driver for a secretary for the party, Kalonzo is smart but this time round, he has sucked up to Moi and Kibaki na Matokeo yake in ODM loosing to the incumbent. Shame on him and his tribal stooges.
