I have made a decision to give out small token cash awards to those who win our ongoing comments competition. For this reason we will extend this contest to mid May so as to give as many people as possible a chance to participate and we will also announce the winners on May 14th.
I take this opportunity to invite any readers who would like to make donations towards these cash gifts to get in touch with me via the email address umissedthis at yahoo dot com. I want us to make this cash gifts as large as we possibly can. I will announce the amounts on 21st April 2007.
Please note that cash will only go to bouquet awards and not barb awards like the most abusive comment ever etc.
How To Leave A Comment In This Blog
It is actually very easy. Simply click the word "comments" at the bottom of the post/article that you would like to leave a comment under and follow the simple instructions by reading everything carefully.
It is advisable to write your comment elsewhere and save it (imagine writing a lengthy reply and then your PC freezes or there is a power outage?). You can then cut it and paste it in the provided box that will come up when you click on "post a comment" or "comments".
Towards the bottom make sure that you click on the anonymous box before you click on the "publish" to post your comment. But you can leave your name at the bottom of the comment so that another person does not claim your prize, incase you win something.
P.S. I appeal to all great supporters of this site to send in a token amount so that we can make this comments competition really big. You can donate small amounts of a few dollars via Paypal or if you are in Kenya you can use the new M-Pesa by Safaricom. Please indicate clearly that it is a donation and tell us if you want us to publish your name in a special post of thanks that I will publish shortly before we announce our winners.
