Tom Mboya video now online

I have just interrupted my extremely busy schedule to watch a Tom Mboya video at the Tom Mboya site; http:www.tommboya.com
I cried and it still haunts me to this minute.

Check it out for yourself and let it haunt you until we Kenyans wake up and bury Tom Mboya’s ghosts. It is the only ay forward.

P.S. The Mboya family had a private function yesterday in Nairobi to mark the 36th anniversary of his slaying.

Another Mombasa bank robbery. Are we missing something here?

Twice in less than a month gangsters in Mombasa have shot and killed a policeman in cold blood outside a bank, just before a robbery.

The latest incident happened yesterday as 5 million was stolen from Standard Chartered Moi Avenue, Mombasa. Eyewitnesses said that they ere 9 men in two cars ho divided themselves into two groups. One headed straight into the bank while the other shot the two policemen outside the bank in a military-like operation.
On May 6th this year another policeman died when a 9 man gang robbed Barclays Bank Changame.

Are we missing something here?

The Narc government is clearly losing the battle against crime which has now spread to the once peaceful coastal town of Mombasa.

The major issue here is that they are busy fighting a symptom rather than tackling the disease head on. The problem (disease) is that there is too much hopelessness in Kenya today. Just two days ago a teenage mother strangled her toddler rather than see him starve to death. What does that tell you?

Kenyans have lost hope because a government in which we placed too much hope is behaving worse than the previous Kanu regime.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not supporting criminals, but it is common sense that one cannot hope to get rich and enjoy their wealth when their neighbour is starving to death. Worse of all when you are getting rich on property that you have snatched from him (that is exactly what corruption is).

Criminals are not freedom fighters but this is the same hopelessness that gave birth to Mau Mau and the bloodiest time in Kenya history. Something needs to be done before it is too late.
