All political guns are out blazing. And who said Jimmy Kibaki was politically timid? The next Othaya MP is out and about selling his father's re-election bid. Seeing him addressing the crowd in Narok leaves no doubt that his sight is not limited to his dad's shadows.
The Kibaki family is out campaigning full blast for the first time. With Lucy pitching camp in Western, Judy running the logistics at the secretariat and Emilio himself showing a reserve of energy combing Rift Valley like never before.
Add to that the network of steely ambassador and activist at large Mary Wambui and the ODMs must be sleeping with both eyes wide open. It is all systems go and the political heat in the next three weeks will rival the inner sanctums of the sun. To spice this will be heightened dirty and hate campaigns. Na bado.
