Interesting Times Are Here

Juja MP Mr William Kabogo (seated) receiving blessings from Bishop Maina Kegiao of the Grace Presbyterian Church at the Ruiru Stadium on Sunday. Later Hon Kabogo distributed 20 bicycles to area pastors.

Money or the box? All eyes on the price.

  6. You have to give it to this man. Its always good to get the blessings from the church elders - but i wonder what the (ruhia)horns have got to do with the church. I thought that is the traditonal kikuyu way of swallowing the juicy Muratina. How hs thisgt to do with church blessings? Having said this, the man is a master mobilizer, cum money bag and lording it over a poor constituency. His frequent gifts (unga, mafuta and 100 bob)to the people of ruiru(gitambaya), Thika (Kiandutu), Juja and teh many coffee plantations that are white owned and where people suffer from pecunisis will be a fertile ground for his re-election. He has also done much for the area unlike the previous MPs. Guys can feel him. All the same we should ensure we have leaders that are good mentors. Am not sure of his mentee attributes.
