Greetings! I am really glad that you are blogging about the Kenyan elections - and that you are starting early. My name is Mary Joyce and I am the Editor of Demologue.com, a website dedicated to using digital technology to support democracy movements. I am working with resprescentatives from 2 organizations, openDemocracy.net and Harvard University's Berkman Center, to create a guide on how to blog elections. I would really like you input into our project. If this interests you please contact me at marycjoyce@gmail.com . By the way, has your blog considered remaining non-partisan? That is, not choosing a candidate to support but rather being an objective source of information on the elections? Just a thought.

I don't think my naming somebody who is not even currently considering running for the Presidency will make us partisan.

Newspapers in the US for instance, sanction presidential candidates all the time.

In fact in my case the announcement is meant to spur debate more than anything else. Or to set the ball rolling, so to speak.
