Help Kumekucha Find The Best Comment Ever

Since this blog was launched on May 12th 2005, numerous readers have made comments here. In fact they are so overwhelmingly many that I found it very difficult even after hours, and gave up trying to count them, let alone read them all.

That’s why I desperately need your help to announce the following awards;

The best comment ever;
The one that added value, gave information or inspired people the most.

The worst comment ever;
Most abusive, made by an insane person etc.

On our anniversary on 12th May we will go through another nomination process and give out actual cash prizes (except for the worst comment of course).

Readers should note that this blog has attracted interest from all sorts of people and some of them are very eager to discredit everything we say here. Believe it or not we have people in Kenya today who earn a living reading blogs the whole day and spreading all sorts of propaganda on behalf of the government.

So don’t get angry so fast and neither should you believe every comment you read.

Kindly take a look at some of the comments listed in the previous post and then send nominations for these two awards by leaving a comment below.

Have a wonderful Sunday, folks, I really appreciate your support.

P.S. An excellent comment does not have to agree with what I say. In fact some of the best I have seen strongly disagree but give very strong arguments in support of their point of view.

  1. Phil Says,

    congrats on your forthcoming 2nd anniverssary Chris and Kumekucha. To find the best comment amongst the hundreds posted from such a wide range of topics is a tall order indeed.

    Perhaps I could suggest to you to create a multiple choice format for comments, topics, personalities and then let your readers send in their choices and you pick the winner out of the most number of choices sent back to you? Afterall in a democracy, winner is one with most number of votes casts in their favour. Thats my suggestion to you.
