The Untold Story of Chris Msando's Murder: KTN Azula's Investigative Documentary Uncovers Shocking Truth

KTN Azula has long been a pioneer in investigative journalism in Kenya, and their latest documentary, Locked Out Forever, continues this tradition of exposing untold truths. This piece focuses on the 2017 death of Chris Msando, the ICT manager of Kenya’s Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), whose brutal killing shocked the nation just days before the general elections.

This investigative series, launched under The Lead, brings new evidence and insights to light, reaffirming suspicions that many Kenyans have held since the murder: that the authorities were never truly interested in solving this case. The documentary suggests that the police mishandled crucial evidence, including CCTV footage and phone records, all of which could have pointed to those responsible for Msando's death.

The documentary is compelling in its depth and thoroughness, presenting strong evidence, including eyewitness accounts, that could lead to identifying one of the killers. Despite this, the government's lack of interest in pursuing the case has been apparent from the start.

In response to the findings in the documentary, I have prepared an exclusive report for my Club 1999 members, where I delve deeper into the investigation and share additional details, including eyewitness testimonies. Membership is easy to obtain, and I encourage those interested in the full story to join.

The investigation into Chris Msando’s murder remains a critical matter, with the family and the nation still grieving the loss of a man who was on the brink of playing a key role in Kenya’s electoral process. His mother’s emotional words in the documentary highlight the pain of losing a loved one in such a violent and unresolved way. Justice for Chris Msando remains a long-standing hope, one that many Kenyans pray will come to fruition in the near future.

As we approach the close of 2017, the search for justice continues, and the memory of Chris Msando will not be forgotten.
