Former CS Charity Ngilu narrowly escaped death with the person who was
right next to her being run over in Kitui during a demonstration against
incumbent governor Julius Malombe’s draconian decision to demolish
kiosks within the town. That incident illustrates what Kitui residents
have been going through over the last four years. This sets the stage
for a very bruising gubernatorial election on August 8th. The video also
analyzes voting patterns and declares a very likely winner.
