Why Do Fatal Road Accidents Increase Just Before Elections?

In a recent road accident (April 27th 2017) where 8 people were killed on the spot, leaving lots of blood on the tarmac, eyewitnesses say that the driver swerved to avoid a huge snake on the road. The driver died on the spot. There is a link between road accidents and blood spilt on our roads and the general elections. Shocking.
