The Reason Why The Government Banned Live Broadcasts

The reason why the government has banned live broadcasts is because ODM has formed a parallel government since it does not recognize the fraudulent government of Mwai Kibaki. John Michuki got wind of it and quickly moved to ban all live broadcasts in a bid to nip this plan in the bud.

But what this means is that Kenyans cannot even receive news broadcasts because that is a live broadcast.

Freedom of speech and expression has with one directive been taken away from the people of Kenya.

Incidentally ODM plan a swearing in ceremony for its’ parallel government tomorrow at Uhuru Park at 2:00 pm.

P.S. Does Kibaki have grand children? Does he care about that favorite one of his? Is president Mwai "stole the 2007 Kenyan presidency" in full control of his mental facalties? Kumekucha doubts very much.

P.S. I gave Mwai Kibaki's new government 3 days. I have started counting...

Chris, there is something else that is tied to that CAP. The Minister in accordance with STATE SECURITY, has powers, through him directly or his agents, to order for the news bulletin to be recorded, sent to them and approved.

It covers news. IT is the same that was applied by the BBC during the Falklands Island conflict and during the IRA skirmishes. IT is draconian. Just like China and teh former Eastern Europe where all news have to be approved by the State.

What it means, I dont know how they will apply it in Kenya is that the tv station record their news at 6.00, CCK approve it after the Internal security apparatus peruse it and then send it back to the studio for '7.00 News'. It is that bad. Or they have their man edit what they want right in the newsroom, like Egypt and DRC and even some Nigerian stations in the Federal states.

Where are the international observers.? who have served well in the Past. We (the general public) will need independent opinion from those who don't have a conflict of interest in the outcome. Where are they?

Chris Chris Chris,

Journalists like you totally abuse freedom of speech. Read THIS. THERE IS NO PARALLEL GOVERMENT AND THERE WILL NEVER BE.

That was a bad move if it's true. Raila should have tried to cool the masses and raise a standing order of no confidence as soon as parliament opens.
This is a big shame but their are ways of dealing with it with a minimum of blood shed.
Declaring a parallel govt. will only bring more chaos and bloodshed.
Please kenyans tukae kwa amani. Do not let our beloved country bleed further.

Mgash, dont be harsh.

Cool. I think the organisers of that Swearing are being unfair. That is a war-cry. I fear for Kenya now.

Raila is a very POWER HUNGRY INDIVIDUAL. Easy and wisdom requires him to go to parliament with majority ODM MP and impeach Mwai Kibaki. But he is such a foolish Luo to reason along those lines. He has been arrested!

Rabet, Wacha wewe you are far away and you want innocent people to lie in the morgue.

Tomorrow, all GSU in the country will be in the streets and they will be backed by some funny aparatus like the notorious anti-stock theft unit and even the Nayuki battalion that are only supposed to touch foreign enemies. Wacha Rabet.

@AHMED

WHAT WISDOM ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT AND IN WHICH PARLIAMENT?

YOU MUST BE REALLY NAIVE TO BELIEVE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.

WITH THE CURRENT CONSTITUTION AND SELFISH MPS, NO ONE CAN PASS A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE IN THE PRESIDENT.

To actually think that once upon a time i liked and believe Kibaki. He might as well appoint Moi to a authoritative position. Whats the difference between the two?

Kibaki is very power hungry. Kenyans watching al jazeera cnn bbc making fools of us globally, swaering in a foolish old man who won nothing!!

Vikii said...

What do you mean who won nothing? The first person to score an Economics first class at makerere and the first African to graduate from The London School of Economics (Top of class). Do you know what the adjective 'foolish' means?

People, its not fair to throw mud at Raila. He is not the one who was so dumb he stole the election, and forgot they would need numbers in parliament. Lets focus on better ways to send these wazee home. The resolve within ODM is fresh, what with almost 100 and still counting in the house.

I just hope we didnt send dimwits to the house, because no matter which side of the house you are sitting in, this fiasco is wrong.
