Bill Gates, until recently the richest man in the world and founder of Microsoft, once said that the reason why he did the sort of thing that if he were a Kenyan would have resulted in a curse from the clan (that is dropping out of Harvard) was because he saw a window of opportunity. And he took it.
Obviously windows of opportunity do not remain open indefinitely and had Mr Gates waited and finished his degree in Harvard, Microsoft and his fortunes would never have been.
This is the reason why I have made an impassioned plea to our brothers who would rather wait for 2012 to get involved in any initiative to bring about change in Kenya. We have a unique window of opportunity now because...
