Raila Postponed Statement And Formed 34s That Cannot Be Found

The highly anticipated statement from NASA's presidential candidate, Raila Odinga, has been postponed. Initially scheduled for today, August 15, 2017, it will now be delivered tomorrow, August 16, 2017, before 1:00 PM. While no clear reason has been given for the delay, it seems connected to an intriguing development behind the scenes.

As the election results were announced by the IEBC four days ago, the commission has yet to provide the crucial Form 34A, which is necessary by law to validate the election results. These forms, which are supposed to come from each of the over 48,000 polling stations, are essential for verifying the outcome of the elec requested these forms but has yet to receive them. Without them, it is legally impossible to declare a winner, yet the results have been announced, and preparations for swearing-in ceremonies are underway. The missing forms are causing a stir, especially since the deadline for filing any petitions against President Kenyatta's election is fast approaching, making it increasingly difficult for any petition to be filed in time.

According to the Constitution, each polling station should announce its results, and these results should be sent both to the national tallying center and the constituency tallying center. However, the IEBC's method of announcing results has been questioned, as the origin of the data used remains unclear. This has raised concerns that the missing forms may be critical for NASA's next steps.

Behind the scenes, NASA's leadership has been busy, with the principals engaged in strategic discussions with political and economic advisors. However, there are differing opinions within the group about what action to take next. Some argue for a more aggressive stance, while others seem uncertain about the path forward.

As the deadline for filing a petition looms, the situation has become a confrontation between truth and falsehood. The missing forms could either support NASA’s claims or contradict them, and the delay suggests that the IEBC may not want to release the proper documents, possibly due to the risk of revealing discrepancies. This ongoing situation has made the election process seem opaque and riddled with uncertainties, leaving many Kenyans puzzled and frustrated.

Additionally, there’s a tragic development in the Rift Valley, where a 15-year-old girl, identified as Galu, was shot dead by police. A post-mortem revealed that the cause of death was bullet wounds, similar to the tragic case of another child, Midori. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear, but it appears the child was near a vehicle of an independent candidate who had contested the election. There are suspicions that this could have been an intentional act, but the motives remain a mystery. The community is outraged, and this raises further questions about why children are being targeted by security forces.

This situation has left the public in a state of confusion and disbelief, as they await more answers. The mystery surrounding both the election and the tragic death of the child continues to unfold, with many wondering what the future holds.
