Parts of Your Brain and What They Do(simplified)

The brain is the control center of your body, divided into several parts with unique functions:

Cerebrum: The largest part, responsible for voluntary actions, thoughts, memory, reasoning, and emotions. It’s divided into two hemispheres.

Cerebellum: Located at the back of the brain, it controls balance, coordination, and fine motor skills.

Brainstem: Connects the brain to the spinal cord and regulates vital functions like breathing, heart rate, and sleep.

Limbic System: Includes structures like the hippocampus and amygdala, important for emotions, memory, and motivation.

Hypothalamus: Regulates hormones, body temperature, hunger, and thirst.

Occipital Lobe: Processes visual information.

Each part works together to keep the body functioning and responding to its environment.
