Unleashing Wrath as President: Ruto's Vengeful Nature Revealed | Kenya News

Is it just about proving Raila wrong at all costs and nothing else?

Throughout his political career, William Ruto, has been known for his vengeful behavior. Those who had forgotten this or were doubtful of this saw for themselves what happened in September 2022. Immediately after being sworn in, Ruto displayed his vengefulness by mocking members of the press who had been critical of his presidential bid.

There is no denying that William Ruto has an intriguing background, which undoubtedly shapes his political behavior. Born in Eldoret, Kenya, in 1966, Ruto hails from a humble background, rising from poverty to become president of Kenya. This experience of overcoming adversity could contribute to his vengeful behavior, as he might feel the need to prove himself and settle scores with those who doubted him.

It is widely believed that Hezekiah Oyugi developed his close relationship with Daniel Toroitich arap Moi when the latter was still Vice President and during Oyugi's tenure as Nakuru DC (District Commissioner).
It is widely believed that Hezekiah Oyugi developed his close relationship with Daniel Toroitich arap Moi when the latter was still Vice President and during
Oyugi's tenure as Nakuru DC.

For younger Kenyans DC means district commissioner. And although Nakuru was Moi's home district, it was also the dreaded Kiambu Mafia's playground and favorite town. These vicious bullies close to the president never lost an opportunity to put Moi down, even though he was Moi was VP.
As DC Oyugi was able to gather a lot of information about these enemies of Moi and he would frequently pass it on to Moi. Now credit has to be given to Oyugi
because nobody ever guessed that one day
humble vice-president Moi would rise to be president of Kenya.

Yes he was already the vice president but it was clear that the Kiambu mafia would never allow him to step into the shoes of Jomo Kenyatta. Indeed they had even launched a change-the-constitution movement and they had gotten the support of many powerful politicians. The whole idea being to change the constitution so that in the event of Jomo's death, Moi would not automatically ascend to the presidency.
It is believed that it was from Oyugi that Moi learnt of an assassination plot that had been planned against him incase the change the constitution campaign failed. (The campaign did indeed ultimately fail, mostly because President Jomo Kenyatta stubbornly refused to support it.)

And so when Mzee Jomo Kenyatta suddenly passed on in August 1978, Moi was at his Kabarak farm and had to be transported safely to Nairobi to be sworn in as President through possible road blocks set up along the way to finish him off.

Moi made it safely to Nairobi by riding in the boot of an old Peugeot 404 he used to use on his farm. And the man driving that vehicle at great risk to his own life was Hezekiah Oyugi. Get NOW; The full fascinating story of Day President Moi Rode to Nairobi from Nakuru In Boot Of An Old Car

Even as dark clouds hang over the nation of Kenya spiritually, some Kenyans have a very bad feeling about this August 2023. And they are convinced that something very big is coming. And it could quite possibly be linked to the dramatic events that have unfolded in the country over the last two months or so.

Since Kenya attained her independence and even before, the month of August seems to have a streak of bad luck for politicians in Kenya. Disasters too have happened in Kenya in August. Game-changing major events have also unfolded in this same dreaded month. GET FULL DETAILS ON:

Olusegun Obasanjo, a prominent Nigerian statesman, is set to play a crucial role as a mediator in the Kenya peace talks between Raila and Ruto, even as maandamano continue. But what most Kenyans do not realize is that he has been here before, playing the same role. That was in 2008 during the bloody post election violence that erupted after Mwai Kibaki rigged the 2007 presidential polls.

John Jomo succeeded in his prayers to the court and Justice Jairus Ngaah issued an injunction prohibiting the agency from requiring Jomo Kenyatta junior to surrender his pistol without first going through the laid down legal process. But how will the Ruto government respond? Here are a few possible "crazy" scenarios.

Those who saw Hussein Mohamed during his distinguished career as a Citizen TV journalist may be excused for feeling pity for him watching his body language a few hours ago as he fielded a question about Raila's claim that President Ruto invited the Tanzanian president to Kenya to mediate talks between him and Raila Odinga, only to snub her. President Samia Suluhu Hassan then left the country after two nights at a Nairobi hotel waiting in vain.

Mohamed started off laughing nervously when the question was posed. He then followed it up with his shifty answer which hardly made sense.

In just a handful of days, what happened in Nyalenda, Kisumu recently has moved from being highly sensitive to the Ruto government to something being discussed openly. And surprisingly, the international media and community are suddenly leading the discussions and showing great concern.

Raila Odinga in a press conference with the international press in Nairobi yesterday even went on to use the phrase “ethnic cleansing” and made comparisons with similar happenings from the past from all over the world. Read Chris Kumekucha full article
