Top Kenyan Journalist In Date Rape Incident

What is happening to Kenyan journalists!

Even as the Nation media group sex scandal continues to shock Kenyans all over the world, reports reaching this writer from an impeccable source, and accompanied by evidence have revealed a shocking date rape incident that took place in London between February 20th and 22nd this year involving another very well known Kenyan journalist.

As you read this, the source is in the process of publishing on the net, an entire set of emails exchanged between her and the said CNN correspondent who is of Kenyan origin. This writer has had access to the entire set of emails spanning the period between August 2006 and last week when the date rapist sent threats to his victim on discovering that she intended to publicize the incident over the World Wide Web.

Briefly what happened was that the lady in question, A Swiss national approached the CNN journalist via email in August 2006, requesting for assistance in publicizing a book that she has recently published on Kenya. Instead of keeping the relationship professional, the journalist (who is married) made repeated "advances" (clearly documented in the emails) which despite initial resistance, the woman finally succumbed to and accepted to travel all the way to London from Spain, where she lives, to meet the journalist who was in Great Britain during the said dates to attend a CNN function for all its' worldwide correspondents.

During a brief encounter where the two were supposed to have gone out for a candle lit dinner, the journalist instead arrived dressed in a tracksuit and innocently requested that he make some calls from his date's hotel room. It was at the room that the well-known journalist turned violent and against the wishes of the terrified woman had unprotected sex with her. The woman was left hurt and had to seek medical treatment after the encounter.

Matters came to a head when the journalist threatened his victim several times in subsequent emails. The threats culminated in a chilling telephone call where the journalist warned her against reproducing their emails on the World Wide Web with the words; "I may only loose my job - but you will loose your life..."

Excerpts from the set of emails set to be published on the web later this week, complete with the name of the very well known Kenyan journalist (I have omitted the names for the time being but will reveal them later this week);

I can’t remember to have ever felt like that – misused and mistreated by somebody who pretended to love me ….

After you left me – after we had sex in the roughest and most careless way – I felt so dirty and took a shower and stood under the water for more than half an hour. And still continued feeling dirty.

And on top of that you have injured me – I am still bleeding and will go to see a Doctor tomorrow.

But the most offensive thing was your silence afterwards – no word – no call – just nothing.

I spoke with my daughter and there is one question she has repeated: why did he insist that you come to London … although obviously he does not care a bit about you.

And then there is the point of my injury – which scared her a lot and I had to promise to make an Aids-test as soon as possible.

Knowing you now, I do not even expect a reply anymore – but I think you should know how I feel.

Do you remember your nice words: I will never hurt you – I love you and respect you too much to ever disappoint you – just trust me …..?????????????

Just empty words now – like you once said: ‘talk is cheap’ …

I also think that you deserve a kind of revenge – a lesson never to treat a woman like that.

…My only worry now is my health status and then how to carry on trying to forget the whole ‘episode'

One way would be to publish all our correspondence from day one in the Internet – title: ‘Mr X – the real man behind the scenes – a warning to all my Sisters out there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’

Here is his immediate reply:

Dear …….,

I wish you knew what I went through the last two days ……

As for your ‘health’, I can assure you that you are ALRIGHT …….. in fact I can PROMISE you that …… as you know I would NEVER put you in any danger …… I told you that once before …… and I am a man of my word.

As for publishing my mails, if you, Ms XXXX, want to be the woman who will DESTROY the reputation I’ve worked so hard to build, to DESTROY the trust I put in you to write from the heart, that will really break my heart……….

  2. Given our propensity to unzip and lower our pants at the slightest sight of any skirt, Kenyans have surely outdone themselves in matters of being a thletic around the waist. With the sex scandal raging at NMG and now JK exporting our bad bed manners abroad, we need a tabloid to fit all these juicy escapades. Meanwhile Kumekucha is a having a ball with Chris's no holds barred and telling it as it is. Randy Kenyans are outsmarting our world-class athletes in bed-mington.

  3. Chris, let us face the facts. There is only one CNN correspondent with a Kenyan connection, until I read here last week that he had changed it to American. The only other one who appears on CNN is Alex Chamwada of KTN. Which one is it, because the one based in Kenya does not globetrot. Call it as it is. So my guess should be right

  4. It is the height of utter recklessness and disgrace for the CNN Journalist to engage in such despicable acts. Clearly the woman in question had fallen for him, so why use force where patience and a few sweet words can prevail? Well done Chris- this quacks masquarading as model citizens should be exposed.

    Hi Jeff,

I can tell it is you. You see I know you fairely well, Jeffo.

Don't you feel that you should be judged on the same standards you judge others? As you know some of the guys that are not happy with your truthful reporting are the Nigerians. I am sure that government hates you more than you hate Kumekucha.

What has been reported here is true and you know it. The person you should hate is yourself, for what you did to that old woman.

You're still a great journalist though.

Kudos Kums. Now all you need to do is to stop kulaing bribes from those smelly foreskin guys.

    Benjie

  9. First, one is innocent until proven guilty.
If this woman was raped her first call would be the police not journalists. She obviously had consensual sex and after being dumped decided to go public with hopes of promoting her book and embarassing Koinange.
How do you hang a man on an uncollaborated story. She went to the doctor may be because our man is a pure Mandingo. Shame on you for peddling lies

  10. Its soo sad how you people are stumbling over each other in defense of this mzungu woman. One thing i can assure you of is that if the cast was reversed and it was a white jama being accused of "date raping" a black girl he was having an illicit affair with and didnt call her back to say i love you not even half a mzungu would given a flying shit about it. Its amazing how in this day and age well educated kenyans are still infected with the inferiority complex syndrome and are quick to judge, sentence and excute one of their just coz a white woman with lose morals has made some stupid, far fetched and wild accusation on a black man. Just coz its White doesnt make it right. This is the gadamn reason why Africa is still being screwed by the white man. GET UP AND STAND UP FOR ONE OF YOUR OWN FOR ONCE. Shenzi wewe!!

  11. Im a big JK fan and to JK all I can say is keep ur head up. All these haters are just jealous MOFOS who still aint got shit(2 bob vibe). We all know how manipulative people can be. Honestly speaking RAPE is a serious crime. But what my only question is what took her so long to report the RAPE. Was she hoping she would still get the OPRAH interview or was she waiting on him to call back after a MANDINGO nite. The fact that she disclosed stuuf he told her in confidence can show you what she is seeking. ATTENTION. This was not an exposure of the truth. This was an attempt by a Chickenhead to destroy JKs reputation. No sweat JK all u haters can eat a FAT D#$@K!!!!!!!!!!
