It is quite clear that despite DP Ruto spending a fortune from his vast
personal wealth getting support across the country for his 2022
presidential bid, not everything has gone according to plan. Many of his
candidates have been defeated in the Rift Valley, including Buzeki who
failed to remove gov Jakson Mandago in the Jubilee nominations. Now a
faction of Jubilee from the Mount Kenya region has been formed to
neutralize DP Ruto influence completely in central province. What will
be the outcome of all this?
NASA has made it very clear that the coalition will not partcipate in
any elections where presidential votes are subject to corrections and
adjustments after announcement at the polling station and constituency
level. NASA are now demanding that the IEBC withdraw their appeal over
the landmark High Court ruling recently that presidential results from
the constituency level are final and cannot be adjusted by the IEBC in
final tallying of votes as has controversially happened in the past. Big
