How Your Body Filters Out Toxins

The body has several natural mechanisms for filtering out toxins, primarily through the liver, kidneys, and digestive system.

Liver

The liver is the body's main detoxification organ, processing and neutralizing harmful substances that enter the bloodstream. It breaks down toxins into less harmful compounds, which are then excreted either through bile or blood.

Kidneys

The kidneys play a vital role in filtering waste from the blood, removing excess water, salts, and metabolic byproducts that are then excreted as urine.

Digestive system

The digestive system, particularly the colon, helps expel waste products through defecation. The lymphatic system also aids in toxin removal by transporting waste to the bloodstream for elimination.
