Kumekucha's Statement About Controversial Murungaru Post

archive

Never has a post caused so much heat as that controversial re-appoint-Murungaru post that appeared here 2 days ago.

Strange when it was clearly marked right at the top and in bold; Warning: This a tongue-in-the cheek post. Thanx Phil, you appear to be the only person who noticed it.

One thing that you my dear readers have to help me understand is what the differenece there is between Kiraitu Murungi being returned to the cabinet and indeed Daudi Mwiraria, and the return of Chris Murungaru. In my book the 3 gentlemen are the same. Kenyans seem to have accepted the re-appointments of...

  1. Apology was in order albeit belated. Only fools don't change their minds and smart chaps look straight in the eye to say they are sorry. Thanks for being one and apology accepted unreservedly on behalf of Vikii (I am his BB and will TRY to convince him while expecting rebuff). Next time you stick the tongue to your cheeks sign off as you have done with the apology. Otherwise you scored highly in transparently impersonating yourself, kudos.

  2. Sorry for mine too. Really pole. Derek. One psychologist reseacher once came into a lecture room unkempt, dirty, holding a can of Carlsberg (Special Brew) and started badmouthing at the City Uni. In ten minutes, people suggested so many things and one person actually said that he had a history of madness in his family tree. Another one even said that he knew his family (they did not know that the mum was a lecturer at Birbeck College next door. People sent so many txt messages and pictures, only to learn later that the man was actually observing stereotype. It is the same regret that I offer for the Murungaru post

  3. I enjoyed the post Chris, however, knowing fully well it was a tongue-in-cheek, i still chose to go ahead and preach from my high moral e-horse (go out with guns blazing)

However, i hope my part in this did not offend or upset my fellow countrymen and bloggers in anyway, shape or form; their opinions i may either agree or disagree with, but i have come to respect, sometimes in pecking order

  4. Thanks Taabu for wanting me to let this go. I will always take your word.

Having said that, I still believe this is not an apology. All Chris has done is to own up to writing that piece. I am surprised people are willing to take insults all in the name of stereotype studies. People have been called womanizers and whiners and all they do is clap. To me, calling me an illegitimate child is a joke taken too far.

Let it die. I will not a big-ass fuss about it.
