Election Update: Progress On Kajiado North Vote Recount

Vote recount in Kajiado North constituency, represented by Education Minister and former Vice President Professor George Saitoti are on going and nearly completed.

The challenger Rev Moses Ole Sakuda of ODM is currently leading in the recount with 16,642 votes against Saitoti's (PNU) 15,590 votes.

Surprisingly, Kibaki is leading in the presidential vote with 16,542 against Raila's 15,595. The constituency has a total of 107,381 registered voters.

The winner will be known in the next few hours or so.

  1. Guys, just let us know the final results! Obviously from some constituencies its clear that some people want Kibaki but not his big men, so please punguza volume ya hiyo alarm. Plus there are constituencies where Raila has a stronghold na bado hazijacountiwa, au siyo? Tight, but let the real winner win.
