ECK To Anounce Kibaki

Swearing in at 2:30 pm?

Unconfirmed reports are persistent in indicating that the ECK is about to announce President Kibaki as the winner and that the swearing in will be at 2:30pm today.

So far I have been reluctant to believe these reports. However the situation has changed because I am now informed that the Kibaki administration stopped taking calls last night. That could only mean that they are not prepared to listen to reason and are probably planning to dig in and weather the storm. This is one time when I will be delighted and ecstatic to be proved wrong. I will celebrate for a week if I'm proved wrong and announce here how wrong I was.

  2. You are just fuelling fire using unsubstantiated rumours. It is extremely irresponsible for you and you ilk on mashada to use the power of the web to write garbage when tension is evident in the country. If Kenya sinks we all have to loose. Time to preach peace buddy. When Odinga was leading, Kibakis people accepted the fate with grace. Now that the tide seems to have turned, Railas people can only see fraud. Kwani those who voted for Kibaki are not Kenyans? For the sake of our country and our children STOP THE NONSENSE and grow up.

  4. Anonymous 1 pewa kitu. Grab yourself a tusker!. When Raila Odinga was leading, Kibaki's supporters accepted it and even people like Derek conceded. When Kibaki started leading, they switched on the cry-baby mode. That is why Kivuitu had to remind them they are not more Kenyan than anybody else.
