Mwalimu Mati And 4 Other Civil Society Leaders Released On Judges' Orders

STOP PRESS!!

At least something is working in the Kenyan justice system. A Judge has just ordered the immediate release of the 5 Civil Society leaders who were being held by police.

Can we test the system to prove a point to Bwana Mwangi and inform the police that we plan 10 more demonstratoions at parliament buildings on the MP's "fishy" bonuses (for what!!! For sinking Kenya lower in the 5 years they have been in parliament?)

  1. As a result of these demonstrations, it is rumoured (you know Nairobi, if there is no rumour by 6:00am, start one!) that one of the presidential contestants has promised an overhaul of the Parliamentary Service Commission. I will definitely vote for him/her!

  2. Good riddance. I would support such a motion. The PSC lacks checks and balances... power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, and this is what is happening with the PSC. I remember Oloo Aringo so passionately debating for the formation of PSC in Parliament, little did Kenyans know what a monster it would end up to become.
