So Now You Know Why Ndura Waruinge Wants The Langata Seat

In view of the information that you have read in my other posts today, it would contradict the common belief as to why ndura Waruinge would be interested in the Langata seat. It has nothing to do with the fact that Raila Odinga is the MP.

It is because Mr Waruinge has vast experience form his Mungiki past on rapidly building networks amongst the poor and disadvantaged and especially in recruitment. It is fairly easy to see what his campaign strategy would be.

It would only yield one result; total chaos with plenty of bloodshed.

A Little creativity made Kenyan man $1,000 in daily profits

This woman has never heard sex, the reason will shock you.

As a Kenyan, Ndura has every right to seek an elective seat anywhere within Kenya notwithstanding that he is a (former?) mungiki leader and a non-resident of that constituency.

It is an open secret that a large number of voters travel to Langata during the elections so as to vote for their preferred candidates. This trick was perfected during the 1st multi-party elections in Kenya by supporters of Raila Odinga in order to overcome the perceived rigging by the then Arap Moi regime. Recent voter registration exercise has seen the number external voters increase significantly in the same constituency. Langata is Raila's constituency and he is assumed to be the ODM-K nerve centre. He must therefore be stopped or at least kept "busy".

I personally do not see Ndura Waruinge performing any better than Raila as MP. Nor do I see him campaigning peacefully in kibera. You remember in 2002, people in KANU tried to use him and Mungiki in various Nairobi constituencies. The man should be in jail. As you have said it, word on the ground is that Ndura has been planted to cause total chaos and plenty of bloodshed through his Mungiki adherents so as to scare off potential voters and hence make Raila's re-election as MP difficult. This chaos will also cause Raila to divert his attention from national presidential campaigns to local constituency campaigns. Matters are not helped if you consider that Ngong Forest and parts of Nairobi National Park are within Langata consituency. These areas would make perfect Mungiki dens.

Problem is that ordinary residents have their own method to counter this threat. They have formed vigilante groups (Taliban) to defend themselves. Nobody has any faith in the police or government security. At the end of the day, it will death to the men, and rape to women and children. Landlords will also not be able to collect rent from tenants. Hawkers at TOI market will close businesses. Excessive preoccupation with Raila will affect a very large part of Nairobi populace. How unfortunate for Kenyan politics and how sad for future generations.

  2. Both of them are just war mongers. Lang'ata people should look for an mp who will bring them development and not all that empty rhetoric. Ndura Waruinge should become prefect in kamiti.

  3. You have to be very optimistic to even imagine Ndura Waruinge beating Raila in Kibera. Everyone knows why he is contesting in Langata and not any other Nairobi(and to a large extent, Kenya) constituency. He'll be released very soon to finish the job he started. It's a very sad thing that in Kenya, we glorify such people as Waruinge who should be in prison now. But that is beside the point. What I know is that when Kenyans decide to do something, they'll always do it. Kenyans were tired of Moi and he was shown the door when evryone knew he was indispensable. Mungiki is a government project, just like Biwott!!!!
