10th Parliament Crashes And Burns Shortly After Take Off

After taking off beautifully last week (over the Hague bill) in the eyes of Kenyans, the 10th parliament crashed and burnt before completing take off a few hours ago as Agriculture minister won a stunning victory against a censure motion brought out against him over the maize scandal.

In other words our dear legislators voted to support corruption and impunity.

Kenyans on the streets and everywhere we managed to interview them are now saying that the true colours of this parliament that has refused to pay taxes has now clearly come out for all to see.

Ruto enjoyed a landslide victory of 133 MPs voting against the motion and only 22 supporting.

What has greatly angered the people further are the numerous meetings held at various city hotels last night whose agenda was today’s censure motion that would almost have certainly seen Ruto resign had it succeeded. Sources tell this blogger that the agriculture minister hosted a huge contingent of legislators at the Nairobi Casino and then for some unclear reasons the “party” was moved to the Safari Park Hotel later. It is said that MPs were making their way home at 3 am this morning. Money is even said to have exchanged hands and that is why a motion that at first seemed to have huge support suddenly fizzled out. Even the man moving the motion, Ikolomani legislator Bonny Khalwale was a pale shadow of himself at the crucial moment and the gynecologist by profession failed “to deliver the baby safely” for the anxious Kenyan people. Indeed the evidence Khalwale tabled against Ruto was so weak that he did not seem to believe it himself. So what happened to the convincing points he has been raising over the past 2 weeks or so? Was it so hard to back it all up?

============================

In retrospect it was one motion that Ruto would not have afforded to lose. With all sorts of accusations leveled against him concerning the post-elections troubles, the man probably felt that only his stay in the seat of power could protect him adequately from the many troubles ahead. And so if it is true he spent the fortune that people are saying he spent, then he must be sleeping well tonight, secure in the fact that he spent his money well.

But the biggest loser in today’s debate was the Kenyan people some of whom have already lost their lives due to starvation. Ruto says the maize sold was too little to feed starving Kenyans. Of course he is carefully ignoring the fact that his actions triggered off heft price increases in the marketplace. So the question of how many bags were sold irregularly does not really arise here. The truth of the matter is that Ruto's action have had a devastating effect on the price of the Kenyan staple of Unga.

Impunity has once again won the day. But mark my words it has only won one of the many battles with most still to come. The war proper is another matter altogether.

P.S. Just a reminder folks... I told you to keep your eyes firmly fixed on 3 individuals. William Ruto, Uhuru Kenyatta and Bonny Khalwale. The big question I have on my mind tonight is; did Khalwale attend the Casino and Safari Park bashes?

  1. This article could easily have been written by Khalwale judging by the slopiness... It is alleged he spent money, yada yada yada... Khalwale did not have a case and Ruto defended himself well. If any Kenyan is dying of hunger, it is a shame, but it is not Ruto's making. Since the Parliament has burned, I believe you wont have anything to write about after this:)

  4. There was no need to censure Ruto because he'd have come back to the Cabinet anyway, just like Kimunya. In Kenya, so long as you're popular with the poor, screw the middle class! Their votes don't count anyway. Their work is to bitch in blogs in the diaspora and nicer parts of major towns.

  5. What a sad day for Kenya! Corruption networks in ODM and PNU have regrouped. There is need to be VERY AFRAID. The MPs have decided to kill the starving Kenyans painfully. For those who have never slept hungry for three days - let me tell you from experience HUNGER IS PAINFUL. Its painful for the parent and painful too for the children. My simple questions are:
    1. How did Ukambani MPs vote? How did arid north Eastern, Coast, Muranga and Thika MPs vote?
    2. Who do the MPs represent?- the hungry and poor or the rich and corrupt?
    3. Kibpr admitted he made 85 million on TV on brokering maize - was this Kenyans money? or the profit came from where
    4. Has Ruto become the minister of hunger, poverty and death?

If the man was innocent that was fine, if he knows more than he is admitting - His maker will judge him.

Finally - ODM is the party that has come badly out of this. Its a party full of mdomo but no credentials in fighting corruption. They have no crednetials of zero tolerance on corruption. No wonder " kazi ndio hio imeanza" - sooner than later - you shall all be Kazi iendelee.

For the hungry Kenyans - Am really sorry for what you are going through, unfortunately a country's leadership is a reflection of its people. Complain not - you voted corruption, ethnicity, chaos, hunger and death - thats what we are being served. We asked for it.

Navumulia kweli kuwa mkenya - je wewe

  9. To be very honest, when put to task neither Khalwale or Karua could substantiate their allegations. Let's be frank here!

As for the night meetings, politics is a dirty game (the world over) and Ruto is an incredibly talented politician. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

  11. Chris,

When someone goes about yapping (and chest thumping) about scandals all over the place and trying to whip up public emotions the last thing you expect is for him to substantiate his claims. When such happens and there's no evidence, it becomes a total waste of our time.

Like Magara said today, this precious time Khalwale has wasted with his baseless allegations could have been better spent debating productive policy issues that could be used to get this country out of the mess it is in (although knowing our politicians, that is debatable).

I have heard Khalwale speaking before (eloquently might I add) on this issue and he had so much conviction in what he was saying then. Today when he needs to speak with authority, he comes with a newspaper cutting! doctored reports and worst of all the public accounts committee said they had no idea of the audits he had alleged to have undertaken at the NCPB....Mr. Ruto disproved every allegation Khalwale had imputed on him tabling proper documents and giving us information on the SGR and all.....and Khalwale..... was there his main focus being a photo of Mama Ethuuko Nangole which Taabu showed us here a few weeks ago. For pete's sake, Ruto was not going to be defeated by Bonny's dreams, imaginations and emotions!

That Kenyans on the street are annoyed is not a shocker Chris, people are hungry, people are dying, they need to know what else (apart from global warming of course) has brought on this hunger.

You and I both know this matter is not as transparent as it has been made out to be. The 9 O'clock news has shown pro-Ruto MPs meeting in several hotel venues last night 'in consultations,' we can only guess what that means.

Though the scandal may very well have been real, I repeat we have to rely on the evidence adduced.....something that the mover of the motion did not have!

  15. Chris,

It was a combination of money and succession politics that defeated the censure motion.

    1. Each member of the parliamentary committee that investigated Ruto took home 2 million. And one member in particular, Hon Mututho (MP Naivasha) is rumoured to have taken more plus promises of other goodies/favours in the future. Hon Mututho is currently financially needy and if Kenyans are waiting for liberation to come from his types they are in for trouble. He is the worst of PNU bleed.

    2. Even ODM Luo and Luhya MPs ate like there was no tomorrow. A couple of days ago Luhyas were swearing that they were going to teach Ruto a lesson for equating himself to Mudavandi. Likewise, Luos were after Ruto's neck for "fighting" Raila in the party. In the end, the party mandarins decided that it was too early to hang Ruto out to dry while the outlines of 2012 alignments are still hazzy. The MPs were de-whipped. They were told to vote against the motion as long as Ruto whipped them with money. So the auction began. Some MPs were even flown to North-Easten Province by a Ruto aide over the weekend to eat camel meat and drink camel milk. By yesterday afternoon, the motto was "Eat and preserve ODM unity." The Kenyan people and their hunger were never in the equation.

    3. The same games were going on in the PNU circles. The moment the fight was championed by Karua the war was lost. The followers of Kalonzo-Uhuru axis didn't want to been seen to fight on the same side with Karua. In fact to some it was very awkward because this was an opportunity to punish Ruto for RV PEV (revenge the IDPs), but the IDPs had to wait for another day while they sorted Karua first. The rallying cry was "Eat and clean house first." So some ate from Ruto's hand, the same hand that is alleged to have been responsible for Kikuyu bloodshed in the RV. I tell you, Kenyans haven't seen anything yet. Whether PNU was able to clean Karua out of Nyumba Nene, is a matter for another day.

    4. Also, don't forget that Ruto has been trying to connect to the Kalonzo-Uhuru axis through the Athuuri for some time now. So when Ruto complained that Karua was motivated by politics rather than concern for the hungary, it played well among the PNU/GEMA opinion leaders. Some even were saying loudly that she was ultimately aiming at Murungi (and using Ruto as a test case) because of the oil scandal and had to be stopped. Apart from Mututho and a few others, in the PNU, it was the succession politics rather than money that played the crucial role. Ruto's money just happened to be a low-hanging fruit.

    5. What was amazing is how clumsly ODM has played with Ruto-centure/maize affair. Only some parts of the RV and brokers are happy with what has transpired. The image of a chaotic/arrogant and corrupt party is beginning to harden in people's mind. ODM need to be worried.

    6. In the end Ruto survived to fight another day. Financially, he did not not lose much because most of the money came from interested parties/brokers who have benefited and continue to benefit heavily from Ruto's tenure at the ministry of Agriculture. For example, an auctioneer friend of mine was glued to the TV waiting for the results. Whenever there are importation rights to be auctioned, he is called in to rubber-stamp a forgone conclusion. Two weeks ago he earned Sh 50,000 for a one hour auction "job." In short, ODM and PNU are auctioning Kenya off and Kenyans are clapping from their tribal corners.

    7. For sure, if Ruto makes it to 2012 politically, he will be the most sort after kingmaker of the day. And that is not bad for a guy who loves himself, above country, with a passion.

  18. Chris, I have given you a lot of credit in the past. In this, you are wrong. Ruto did nothing wrong. This was an agenda for succession. Karua wanted Ruto out because he is a threat on her path. Khalwale might be fighting Mudadvadi's war. He percieves Ruto as his threat. Karaitu was in it to gain camaraderie because he reasoned "when the frog in front falls in a pit, it could be me next." All in all, it was not worth parliaments time. Omingo is right. this was a waste of time.
Ruto defended himself well. I am glad it went that way. Kenya is still great.

On the other hand, the selection of young Cecil Miller is the break through we need to talk about.

  19. A very interesting post accompanied by some very interesting comments.

I think Kenyans need to make their minds up; are we interested in fighting corruption and ushering in good governance or in little short term political games? I cringe when I hear or read people using the names of the hungry as pawns in their fantasy politics.

The issue in today's motion was not a verdict on Ruto's culpability in the maize scandal, it was not a debate on whether Ruto has a dark black past and it was never about whether he was unfit for public office. These things have never been in question. William Ruto is corrupt and has involved himself in the maize shenanigans. Let us not waste time debating the undebatable.

The tabling of the motion in Parliament was not motivated by a genuine quest for ethics in government either. Bonny Khalwale may very easily be the only MP who was guided by his conscience as far as this saga goes. Those who voted for the motion did so with Kibaki succession politics in mind and those who voed against it did so with the same in mind. It was an unpalatable broth of tribal politics, coalition wars and personal grudges. It was, like all others, a typical case of reducing big issues to small petty things.

Look here folks, Martha Karua's worked up crusade against Ruto was not based on principle. And this is the same thing I said about kimunya's censure. Kimunya was sacrificed by Martha and Raila Odinga. The motive was not fighting corruption, no. It is all a machiavellian approach against opponents and if we dont change our priorities, if we dont change course as a people, we are going to be pawns in this game for a long time.

So let no one tell us the outcome of that motion, just like the Kimunya one, was pegged on how well Mr. Khalwale did his homework. Dont tell me the motion was lost because of a sub-optimal performance by the mover or because of an intelliegent defense by the minister. Our Members of Parliament have never been known to hold convictions. Each one of them left their home decided on how to vote. Very few of them knew or even cared what was at stake.

Fellow kenyans, there is a herd mentality we have come to assocate ourselves with that is plainly stupid. First of all, it is not the duty of Parliament to decide who is fit to sit in the cabinet and who is not. This is a precedent that has the potential of throwing the rule of law out the window. I do not understand why anybody would want to trust Parliament with any important item of debate. Ours is a Parliament that approaches everything with prejudice and set minds.

That said, I think it is defeatist and cowardly for anybody to claim that people were bribed when you cannot substantiate it. This blog is becoming increasingly addicted to the habit of claiming that those who take positions we do not like are guided by personal monetary/material gain. Chris, i am teeling you this for free; Such statements as "money is even said to have exchanged hands ..." only serve to badly injure your credibility. It is this kind of tabloid trash that is not very different from that notorious "reliable sources have told this bogger .." nonsense. Dont get me wrong, I am far from being of the opinion that our MPs are not corruptible, no. What I find cheap is when we write things we know are not true. It would be better if you said, 'I THINK money exchanged hands' or "IN MY OPINION, money must have..". When you say money is said to have exchanged hands, are you suggesting an MP, volunteered that information to you? Something like, "yeah, Ruto bribed us and we are going to support him", huh? Who TOLD you that?

Aside from Chris's 'sour-grape' journalism, I call on all of us as Kenyans to indulge ourselves in a collective think about the consequesnces of the irresponsible politics our leaders have prescribed for us.

  22. Anon2.34pm. Very well said. Yes, Ruto has become a very powerful man in kenya.

It is clear to me that the luo and luhyah factions in odm were for this motion. Remember oburu was among the first people to ask ruto to resign. Then yesterday he comes and assures ruto that they will support him. What happened is that the luo and luhyah realised at the last minute that ruto had assembled strong support from rv, Nep, coast, eastern and parts of central and they (luos and luhyas) would look very bad (esp.in odm circles) if they voted yes. As chris has said this motion initially had very strong support, especially among certain factions of odm.

That said ruto is of course guilty. no question about it. Let us wait and see what the various agencies investigating the matter will say.

  23. Politics is like capitalism the leader(seller) purpots to work in your interest while looking after himself while the populace(buyer) has to make sure the they get value for their money.
It is naive to cry about what just happned, there will be no day when we wil have 'clean' politicians, so get over it what we are looking for is the one who will give us the best deal, it will always be a game of comparison a populatiry contest if you will....its not judgement day, that will only be conducted by God, so those asking for the whole lot to go keep dreaming......They will be relaced by a more careless young and just as corrupt lot.....Politics is about playing peoples interest to help you archieve your own, thats what Ruto did, our only prayer is that the politician has a heart to include us..its sad but thats it and nobody has stopped you from being a politician.
When you let someone else do the politics for you you can only blame yourself. So if you really wanna make a chnage and think your better than them then plunge in ...thats what Obama did ...orthwise contend your self with yelling from the sidelines...or tribal corner as someone eloquently put it.

  24. Ruto learnt well from moi. Make sure your home troops (and kalees have many mps) are 100% behind you. then go after the fringe tribes. look at those who voted NO and you will see mps from ukambani, NEP, Coast and the arid parts of RV backed ruto. these are the groups (including parts of luyahland) that sustained moi in power. Did these mps with starving constituents raelly believe ruto was blameless. Even the admission of kibor had no weight?

kalees cannot frown at corruption as every kalee is corrupt, just as kikuyus cannot frown at stealing as every kikuyu is a thief. But corruption and stealing could be said to be one and the same thing so these two vices unite kaleos and kikuyus. For those who do not know during moi's time kikuyus were very much inside the eating bus, far more than the tribes that used to support moi. But after kibs got in kalees became annoyed because they thought kiuks wanted to eat alone. This, Chris, is the main reason for PEV. Sounds simplistic but it is true.

    Prime Minister - Kalenjin.

  28. "Chriso"
whether Khalwale really ever had any "evidence" against Ruto in the first place is highly doubtful.Thieves cover up their tracks to leave no trace of their plundering and good thieves are good at leaving behind no trace of looting; that is the problem with finding "evidence" in Kenya today

Dr.Kibaki perfectly illustrated it in 2005 when he asked the question "kwani ame kula mbuzi ya nani" in response to corruption accusations against then ministers in his cabinet Murungaru and Kiraitu concerning the anglo-leasing scam. sad to say but he was right-rumours, hearsay, bartalk and innuendo cannot hold up in any court of law(except in the court of public opinion)

Khalwale-next time if you don't have any evidence shutup. people dying of hunger is not enough evidence that maize has been stolen stupid

    ReplyDelete
  29. Go Go HOn Ruto. There are certainly 3 casualties in all this maize Saga: Martha, Raila and of course his buddy and Kwalwale Mulembe kinsman Mudavadi!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Choma Man:
Kibaki did not utter those words referring to Murungaru and Kiraitu on Anglo Leasing. He was referring to Hon Ndwiga (the then minister for cooperatives) and it was in regard to a farm which some people were accusing Ndwiga of having improperly acquired it. It turned out the deal was above board and Kibaki was impatient with the accusers. Just to correct you for the records and not to defend Kibaki's tolerance for corrupt individuals.

You are right regarding getting evidence of theft when the thief is in charge of the documents that comprise evidence. As long as Ruto is in charge of that ministry, no evidence will emerge. The international firm engaged by Raila to audit the maize transactions is just there to take Kenyans in circles. The least Kibaki and Raila could have done was to transfer Ruto to another ministry while the investigation proceeded. Give it Ruto - as he stole the maize he made sure those who matter, their children and relatives, got their quota of maize so that if he were to go down, they go together.

Anyway the rains will finally come, hunger will come to an end, our short memory will take over, and our political thugs will find another soft spot to kick us.

    Sisi ndio wajinga wa Mungu.

  31. I hope this victory doesn't to Ruto's head. If he is a keen observer, must have noticed that the big boys did no show their hand in his fight with Karua and Khalwale. They just watched and took notes. He should have noticed that Ngilu, Balala and Oburu had initially asked him to resign and then suddenly they went quiet. A big boy somewhere must have asked them not to jump the gun before the opportune time.

Someone should advise him not to fly too close to the sun. He should humble himself and clean the ministry.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Again,
We have short memories as Kenyans.Like Vikkii said we have this "herding" mentality.WE always want to be where everyone is.The fact that only 22 MPs were the minority opposed does not mean they were wrong. We as Kenyans do not want to take the bold step and say NO or ask the hard questions.the really hard questions. The few who want to go against the "herd"might be fewer but they may not be necessarily wrong.
Lets think, lets step back and think. Why the sudden change in the voting pattern in parliament? Why do we believe Kiraitu in his "passionate" speech? Why dont we ask the right questions? To be honest I am scared about our parliament. One week they are this way the next they are the other way.The thought of a tribunal in Kenya came to my mind as i watched the MPs rally behind Ruto.Yes, we can be manipulated.....look at Imanyara?last weeks saint is this weeks sinner. Why?He is in the boat of MPs who "requested for maize".
So let us think hard before we get carried away by what our MPs tell us.Remember its not that Martha Karua and Bonny Khalwale are saints.Remember, Khalwale was one of the MPs who vehemently opposed Taxation!I hate to admit it but i have been hoodwinked severally in believing Kenyans MPs care, but they dont. They are a bunch of recycled politicicans who have just learned their tricks from the grandmaster.....Arap Moi.

  41. On a side note, I have read mixed posts elsewhere on Cecil Miller's appointment as the interim chairman of the IIEC.

People have shown both thrill and contempt in equal measure. Some tout him to be above board while others say he will steer of tribal leanings.

This is what I have on this guy. My own sister worked for this guy for a year before she quit...read quit not sacked.

    1. Ordinarily, the appointment letter she was given stipulated she will work (representing clients in court, etc, things that an advocate in Kenya does) 5 days a week, 8-5 p.m on a fixed salary for a period of a year before she will be reviewed for an increase. As most Kenyans do, she was dedicated to her job, woke up early to be there in time and such. She will even work through lunch hours without break. At 5 when she's about to leave, the guy comes with a pile of work, says the work is needed the next day, so they have to stay in the office sometimes up to 10 p.m working on drafting these legal stuff. The guy already left at 5 p.m.
    2. Despite of all these, there was no overtime pay (ofcourse it was not in the contract, but one would have thought that common sense will dictate you have to compensate them for their time....talk of using Kenyans like wahindis do).
    3. After toiling like this, when cheques come, (and am told the guy used to bank some heavy cheques), she (and her other employees) will not get any bonus for the input they put in. They get their fixed salos. The guy doesn't even ongeza kitu for they were using their own cash to take cabs at night.
    4. The guy could meet company execs, at luncheons etc and cut deal for work. You don't need to be told the kind of cards that were being played under the table.
    5. You all know that this guy was one of the lead counsels both in the inquiry into the Goldenberg scandal as well as the one that inquired into the ECK. He is on record for insisting that the ECK should be disbanded. So, to me for him to have again accepted or even forwarded his CV to be considered beats logic. He should have been disqualified since he was already a person with interest.
    6. Most people might think this guy is non-partisan but a deeper look will reveal that this guy eats and dines with sharks from a certain part of Kenya.
    7. This is from my sister, who BTW quit after working for a year under the terms described above. After Narc coming to power in 2002, the guy assembled them and told them. "I know alot of people in this administration, lets eat now. No one knows what will happen in 2007"

    Judge for yourselves people.

  42. Is there anyone who was a suitable candidate for the ECK post? He is probably the better devil

As for firing Martha Karua, which appointed person can serve as a good justice minister in Kenya and actually perform their job? None, I highly doubt anyone can do a good job

There are a lot of Kenyans trying to fight graft, but things always go belly up and they have to start again.

Dont forget many people have fought to get rid of corruption and bring at least some more accountability. So cut the Khalwale's, Karua's, Miller's some slack.

They may not be perfect but they are the better devils.

I dont know Miller - But you comments seem more driven by hate and ethnic affiliation than substance. As an employee she had an option of leaving the firm if she felt abused.

Any new face would be better than Kivuitu and his cohort.

  44. Folks, we all know for a fact that if Ruto was investigated by the FBI, he would be fighting for blankets with fellow inmates at Kamiti this very night.

@ Mama, with all due respect, Ruto did not get off the hook by virtue of his eloquent defense or lack of evidence for that matter. C’mon, we are talking about Ruto here….if in fact there was no evidence, it is because he stole that ‘evidence’ thinking it was something of value he could sell somewhere for profit. That’s the Ruto we are accustomed to.
And please let Bonny and his newspaper cuttings live in peace. In the end, an OB/GYN, even on his least busy workday, must not be expected to sieve through bags of maize looking for damning evidence. That’s the job of the KACC…and that’s where Kenya fails.

That said, surviving the censure, while impressive is not political genius…at least when you consider the caliber of those ‘convinced’ to vote against it. We are talking of people like Murungi here; need I say more?

  45. Chris, So when exactly are you planning to launch the Kumekucha Facebook Community?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Kalamari,

I hear you. Unfortunately, people are not judged by newspaper cuttings unless someone is claiming they have been defamed. Someone was trying to convince me yesterday that whether there's a scandal or not, Ruto should be censured if for nothing else, his involvement in corruption in the past, (sijui YK 92, sale of NSSF plots) and I wondered was he on the spot for past crimes or NCPB maize disappearance?

Btw, I have not said anywhere that Ruto is innocent, I was just pissed that after all the hullaballoo created and all the scandalizing Khalwale has done, he had nothing to back up his allegations and did not prove to anyone that maize was stolen....that was the simple point I was trying to make.

I guess this could be equated with people who have been saying Ruto was involved in PEV, yet no evidence is given to support their claim. My humble opinion is that if the only evidence they have is this Khalwale type nonsense then we better forget all these Hague manenos coz we will go nowhere!

My submission is simply this, if someone is going to scandalise someone else like Khalwale has done, please back it up with something substantial to convince us.

I thought those parliamentary committees are given the mandate to investigate and to summon people when things go wrong, if this is the kind of shoddy 'investigations' they do, they better disband all those committees and let properly trained investigators do it.

  56. "Kenya sucks!!!

I will never return to kenya including my ashes!

If you can get out of Kenya leave now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Spare a thought for those of use that were driven out of the west by recession only to arrive home and await a violent revolution in the making. If Kenya doesn't burn by 2012, it will be a miracle.
I am actually going to leave the country during the next election or constitutional referendum. One cannot take chances with this volatile country.
BTW, have you heard about terror threats here? it doesn't get any better in Kenya, does it?

  57. Ruto made a case, people saw the facts. The rest is tribal bullish, a.k.a "mwizi-kibaki-defenders-just bcause-he-is-our-tribe" and "our-eyes-on-2012-ruto-is-in-the-way". Why then is karua and kikuyus after him? They know he is the one to counter that marrionnette called uhuru that even they hate, and nobody else, especially not the ever-changing chameleon raila.
    Sell another.

Ruto all the way; one of the best, brightest of the 10th parliament..from humble beginnings and yes, a couple of skeletons in the closet..but which arse up there doesn't have any, especially the ones who are already your president, prime minister, and minister of 'justice' and constitutional affairs?? Politics comes with dirty games, and no one is clean;everyone who enters, is muddied, plain and simple.
The post-election violence in eldoret was not pre-organised nor did ruto steal any maize. Ask mwizi kibaki wassup- and then pass by jirongo and ask the same. Ruto is innocent, raila is guilty and has a done-by date.

And I am not even kalenjin or even anything close.Take it from a keen, removed, impartial, older eye that has watched these politics and these people right from when they left their mothers' breasts.

Also, anona 12.43, saying "kenya sucks"..when you are safe in teh diaspora, when the middle and upper class did not endeavor to show their dispute for the vote in any way..makes you a hypocrite, don't you think?

God bless, and peace in Kinyaa.
