When the Prince Stops Bullet for the King

The heat is dissipating and the noose loosening. Slowly but surely the beleaguered Finance minister is finding his footing in the predictable ETHNIC safety net. We are back to familiar waters and the mobs are ready and hungry for hire at the right price. Ready availability of a political scapegoat and party only helps to hasten the political recovery process.

The Iron Lady Martha must have imagined that her betrayal to fly kite would derail the DECEPTION gravy train. Well, she must be ruing that costly blunder by escaping with her skirt for cover. DPM Uhuru Kenyatta has promptly seized on the opportunity to politically gather wind on his sail. Son of Jomo is back with all his wits which apparently reappeared after the gloomy afternoon in Parliament when he sat pensively as Kimunya was roasted live. But not for long when opportunism is a prized virtue in politics. After realizing that Martha refused to play ball, UK has dutifully filled the vacuum to trail blaze the tribal flagship. It is succession script’s preface being refined in earnest.

Kimunya is in VERY SECURE hands and territory. Comparing the Grand Regency scam to Anglo Leasing is to miss the boat by a river. Apples and oranges are incomparable. Poor Daudi Mwirairai had to go because there was second term to fight for unlike now when all programs and schemes must be promptly accomplished at whatever cost lest the wider schemes to auction Kenya fails. The ruling cabal cannot afford the luxury of allowing the Grand Regency saga to balloon into a crisis now that debts are accruing from last year’s elections with creditors breathing fire on the neck of the CEO.

False siege mentality
Play it dirty if the game promises to deliver an accurate political punch. We are back to open competition and raw power games. The president must be insulated from all forms of exposure, perceived or real. Puppets now and respect orders from theor masters. The powers behind the serial scandals only need to play into the president’s insecurity by packaging ministerial committee’s recommendation as a clever attempt to undermine his authority. By reminding Kibaki of the common thread running through Kimunya, his golfing buddy at CBK Ndungu and NSIS director Michael Gichangi, the marionette is left with no option but to play ball.

Security in numbers is a porous defence for the guilty. Kimunya has unwittingly admitted guilt that CBK official under him made a mistake and he shamelessly proceeds with hata wewe pia gimmick that Orengo too should carry the burden because he is the boss at Lands. It is the Finance Minister and Ministry under microscope and the cross is proving too heavy. He has made a promise to resign his Kipipiri with the singular objective of only fooling himself. He has refused to remove the speck in his eyes so why would he promise to uproot a tree later? Spewing lies to cover previous lies makes you prone to serial goofs. Kimunya is battering his prostrate persona by passing NO CONFIDENCE VOTE on the government he serves. Maybe only Libyan sleuths would earn Kimunya’s trust and respect. Kibaki may just answer Amos’ prayers and engage top crime busters from Tripoli.

Sometimes it takes a disaster/scandal to galvanize competing interests when the common ultimate prize is threatened. Desperate situations call for desperate and tested measures. In the present scenario nothing sells faster than drumming up tribal support and creating a siege mentality albeit a false one. The confidence in Kimunya’s tone tells it all. Gloating that he would rather die than resign mirrors the thinking inside power circles. The prince of impunity knows the handsome rewards derived from stopping bullets for the king. It couldn’t get any hotter than last week. The change in tone and the accompanying bravado clearly proves we haven’t seen the last act of OBTUSE IMPUNITY. Kazi iendelee, na bado.

  1. The East African reports that a Kuweiti Company is in discussion to buy the Nairobi Intercontinental Hotel. Since this blog claims to be first to know everything which is happening, why did it keep quiet about this? Since obviously another Grand Regency Saga is in the making here. Or is it because another media outlet has been faster?

  2. Trail-blazing the PNU banner? What in the world does this mean?

Why should Amos Kimunya resign? Just because somebody wants him out? Just because some seriously delusional politician thinks the world takes cues from him? Somebody somewhere is definitely over-estimating their relevance.

  3. Taabu, am as sad as I am happy. Sad that our nation is once again at the cliff's edge, but also happy as the days are numbered for the THIEF IN CHIEF who imagined he could simply swear himself in at night then doze off til 2012. Odemers, dont lose hope. I have full confidence and trust in RAO. He managed to singlehandedly outwit Moi and is ilk. Wat match is Kibaki? My take is that we would rather be in the opposition!

  4. Vikii, I am sorry to ask you even though I know what your answer will be, why should he not resign considering what we know? Yesterday you attached Chris when he said that he doesn't know the people we speak on behalf but if you would listen to your your comments @12:22 to know they betray your leaning.

VIKII IF YOU DON'T FEEL THAT YOU OWN SOME OF THE GRAND REGENCY SHARES AS A KENYAN CITIZEN THEN GET AWAY FROM THE UNDER THE TABLE SALE OF THE GRAND REGENCY BY THE CROOKS-
SECOND THIS IS NOT TRIBAL WARFARE- IF IT WERE THEN ALL CENTRAL PROVINCE MP WOULD HAVE STOOD UP IN PARLIAMENT TO DEFEND KIMUNYA! THIS IS ABOUT KIMUNYA AS AN INDIVIDUAL TRYING TO GET AWAY WITH THE SHADY DEALING OF SELLING THE GRAND REGENCY IN THE DARK!

  9. Vikii @12.22pm. I think you are the one who is delusional. Look at this. A deputy mayor of London has just resigned because of allegations against him. These allegations are said to have taken place in the 1990s!
Kimunya was caught with his hands in the till. He is just hanging on any straw as a drawning person he is.
Do not try to defend the indefensible.

You sound naive! Parading the same hollow bravado! seen in those you seek to defend.

If only you knew what is going as we speak.

Kimunya has to go if Kibaki IS TO STAY...Go figure!!

The Keter bill is currently being dusted and will be used to bring pressure to bear on Kibaki to cut off Kimunya. And he will. It's a matter of time.

Just watch keenly and you will realize Kiambu Mafia's impunity is being taken down by all means. And this time the rest of Central Province have joined in with the rest of Kenya.

Look at MPs who came out to his defense, all from Kiambu Uhuru, Thuo....

    Two years ago same Kiambu homeboys schemed the downfall of humble Mwiraria. These fuckers namely;

    1. Kimunya from Kabete.

    2. Githongo from Kiambu used to leak information everytime Kibaki was about to re-appoint Mwiraria to his position.
This explains the current bad blood between Merus and the Kikuyus who are trying to revive GEMA.
Merus have shot down these plans.

    3. Kiboro from kabete while at Nation Media Group. Used to unrelentlessly paint Mwiraria as a looter!

    4. Kanyago/Eddy from Kiambu and both Kibaki's financiers.

    5. etc etc
    They are known....

Poetic Justice! is being served here Vikii. And while at it, cleansing Kenya from the rot these folks brought with them to office. Kenyans are fighting impunity! not Kimunya.

  11. Taabu,

    Here's a bombshell for you.

    GRAND REGENCY IS THE 'PREFACE'.

This quiet Sunday evening, I had a drink with some Kenyans who matter.

This is what I gathered. (dont quote me).

Just like he did to KANU before PNU, Raila (unlike Tom Mboya) has already managed to split the GEMA community through the grand regency saga and his supposedly 'innocent' lunch with kuguru and Njonjo at Ranalo.

In an elaborate scheme that was mooted before Annan left Kenya, GEMA have an ongoing vicious infighting amongst themselves because of Raila. In political lingo, PNU is in reality 'a headless chicken'.

The biggest coup for ODM, coming about 3 months after the grand coalition was formed, is the open DEFECTION of Martha Karua to ODM via the NARC Kenya ferry.

Apparently, there has been written promises that Kenya will, for once in nearly 50 years, have a NEW overhauled constitution, by May 2009, right? Karua as Justice minister is (surprise, surprise) the ODM insider earmarked to ensure that the BOMAS draft is adopted for the referendum.

Secondly, unlike Kalonzo, Uhuru who wrongly assume presidents are made by addressing ethnic homecoming rallies, the ODM supremo has already put together a workable and efficient grand opposition in parliament as well as 'rival' political ambassadors in the provinces that 'matter' in Kenya.

I gathered that ODM is actually already looking at a workable and balanced line-up for a post-referendum government.

Oh yes, Kibaki is not completing his term!

    The ODM line up for the next government after the 2010 general elections, expected to come as soon as the new constitution is passed is as follows;

Raila - Executive PM (kenya is changing to parliamentary system of government)

Ruto & Karua - Deputy Executive PMs

    Mudavadi - state president

Nyagah, Balala & Ngilu - deputy state presidents

This is supposedly the face of KENYA that the ODM have been singing since 2003.

So far, I have heard the finance minister who will be in charge of funding ODM's projects for infrastructure, infrastructure and infrastructure will not be one Anyang Nyongo, Omingo Magara or Musalia Mudavadi, but a man called Billow Kerrow - whom as we talk, is already seconded to the yet to be disbanded 2007 ODM presidential campaign team. Thats the only hint in can give now.

    Good night

Keep it Kumekucha, more is coming.

  15. It is a fact that Kimunya stole. The BiG THIEF however got the giant part of the loot.

"Kibaki signed the sale agreement" Kimunya told us after being forced by the press.

Do you think a member of these corrupt folk will resign?

Kenyans, the election were stolen to cover up all these scandals. Kibaki is a grand devil and will not touch a baby devil.

I pity Kenya. By 2012 Kenya will be totally bankrupt. This is what Kibakis 2nd term is all about. The whole Kenya is to starve while Central Province is to enjoy a 10% growth.

this is about public property not Kibaki, Raila, Uhru, Martha Karua e.t.c it is about some individuals taking law into thier hands and using it to do shady deals.
let us discuss that not rumours or stories on the streets and back rooms of kenya.

  20. CBK faulted for shunning auction

    Story by OLIVER MATHENGE
    Publication Date: 7/7/2008
Auctioneers have faulted the Central Bank of Kenya for insisting that the Grand Regency Hotel would not have fetched a good price if it was sold through an auction.

Instead, the National Association of Kenya Auctioneers (NAKA) said that a public auction was the best option that would have yielded the best price.

Speaking to the Nation in Nairobi Sunday, NAKA members, led by chairman James Josiah, said the claim by CBK did not hold any water.

Mr Josiah said a public auction was the best way to fetch a high price for any kind of property as it was guided by a set reserve price.

“History in public auctions has shown that a property can be disposed for twice as much the reserved price,” said Mr Josiah.

  21. Phil, here we go again with your "don't quote me" hearsays-now what will you be telling us 4 years from now when Kibaki does indeed complete his final term as president?
Its no secret that PNU is sinking-it was never a ship in the first place, so attributing its downfall to outside manoevurs by Raila and ODM is imaginative at best
I have seen many things in kenya but never will i/we see Martha Karua defect to ODM-sometimes the bridge is burnt and cannot be rebuilt again even in nonsensical kenyan politics where todays enemies are tomorrow's friends
ODM and PNU are truly out of ideas other than how to outdo themselves destroying this great country of ours as they go about earning fat salaries and driving expensive motorvehicles
its time for a change in leadership of this country and the way it is governed

    Step aside, Nzimbi tells minister

    Story by KIBIWOTT KOROSS
    Publication Date: 7/7/2008
Finance minister Amos Kimunya should step aside to allow for investigations into his conduct in the controversial sale of the Grand Regency Hotel, a leading clergyman said Sunday.

Archbishop Benjamin Nzimbi, the head of the Anglican Church of Kenya, said Mr Kimunya should respect the decision taken by his parliamentary colleagues, who backed a censure motion against him in the House last week.

He said the sale should be screened to establish if the correct procedures had been followed.

    Miserable lives

Archbishop Nzimbi said Mr Kimunya had betrayed the trust he was accorded by Kenyans.

“If he messed up,” he said, “he should confess to the Kenyan people and ask for forgiveness.”

Archbishop Nzimbi, who was speaking after the Sunday service at the All Saints’ Cathedral in Nairobi, noted that it was surprising that Kenyans continued leading miserable lives as a few individuals enriched themselves.

He praised the MPs for voting for the motion without considering their party affiliations, saying that this proved that the MPs were checking the Government’s performance.

He urged them to continue with the same spirit.

    Own cross

Asked whether the controversial sale of the hotel would affect the grand coalition Government, the clergyman said the coalition was there to stay, and called on Mr Kimunya to carry his own cross.

“The coalition should be kept intact for national cohesion,” he said noting that the public was now more informed than ever before and could not be tricked by politicians out to seek public sympathy.

The ACK head also urged Cabinet ministers to cooperate for the sake of Kenyans, asking them to rally for what is right.

  24. Hahahahaha. I have never laughed this long and loud, Phil. Why don't you try fiction, man?

I told you here last year, and you guys called me names, that Raila Odinga will never be Kenya's CEO. Derek said the same thing when he quoted some Tanzanian newspaper that ran the title, "Oginga Odinga afa bila kuwa rais--hata kwa siku moja" in 1994. Watch out for another one that says; Raila Odinga afa bila kuwa rais, kama babake".

Dude, there are three things you will never see in this life and even in the next. The first one is a President Raila (executive Prime minister in your fictitious story) It simply aint gonna happen, bro. Raila had better enjoy the trappings of power while they last. This is the highest he will ever get. This is the peak, man.

The second thing you need not expect in real life is Hon Martha Karua defecting to the ODM. I can't speak for her but expecting Karua to live in a world inhabitted by the Railas and Ngilus of this world is, well, a little too optimistic.

The other thing you need to prepare yourself for is the Kibaki Presidency lasting the five years it was ELECTED to last. In other words, Mwai Kibaki will be your President until that day that HE DECIDES the country should go for elections, a time of his choosing. Incapacitation or death of the president are the only other real reasons for an early election. You need to start believing that, Phil. The new constitution may even come tomorrow, but believe me the applications of its provisions at least as far as the country's executive authority goes will be after 2012.

So, anon fellows what's coming my way besides Kikuyu, thief, fraud, deception and the other words losers use? Any new word?

  25. Kumekucha you seem dead?? but thanks to blogs like JuKwaa we are getting some inside information on Libya Kenya Gaddafi & Kibaki connections but wait Look at all this shaddy deals-

THIS MUST BE INVESTIGATED AND CANCELED- CORRUPTION OF THE HIGHEST ORDER!!

GADDAFI’S CENSAD INITIATIVE FOR A UNITED STATES OF AFRICA and OTHER DEALS KIMUNYA HAS SIGNED WITH THE LIBYANS.

Pan Africanism is a great ideal in my view. Genuine efforts towards economic integration of the small African states and economies is an excellent idea too.

However, any efforts at replacing colonial exploitative powers by oil-rich powers within Africa under the guise of economic integration, must be interrogated thoroughly.

Before looking at Libyan/Gaddafi ventures in Kenya like the bungled Grand Regency takeover, facilitated by Kimunya and co.,.... what was Kalonzo Musyoka doing in Benin around mid June?

Kenya’s Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka recently attended the 10th Summit of Heads of the States of the Community of Sahel-Sahara States (CENSAD), held in Cotonou, Benin, between June 17th and 19th, 2008. CENSAD is a 28 member African market established in the Libyan capital city of Tripoli in February 1998 by Libyan president Muaammar Gadhafi.

Kalonzo Musyoka’s trip to the CENSAD heads of state summit was given very little media coverage, and overshadowed by a concurrent trip by the Prime Minister, Raila Odinga to the US.

Local media briefly mentioned that the Vice President’s meeting was anchored on discussions about desertification strategies, creating an impression that this was going to be one of those routine foreign trips by travel-happy politicians.

That may be far from reality. The inclusion of Finance Permanent Secretary, and Economic Secretary in the Vice President’s entourage suggested a theme bigger than desertification.

The Vice President was representing Kenya which was being admitted for the very first time into Gaddafi's CENSAD membership curiously in June 2008, alongside Mauritania and Sao Tome and Principe.

At the inception of CENSAD in Tripoli in 1998, Libyan leader Gadhafi announced that the initiative was a prelude to a United States of Africa. Among some of the member countries are; Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Morocco, Djibouti, Eritrea, Gambia, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Chad, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Central African Republic, Somalia, Togo and Benin.

During the Summit, the Heads of States agreed to work towards the establishment of a Union Government in order to reach that goal - a United States of Africa. They also declared their effective commitment to advance that goal through the African Union.

Kalonzo Musyoka, representing Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki, joined the African leaders in signing three treaties aimed at promoting cooperation amongst member states. These included ‘the common non-aggression treaty’, ‘the youth promotion treaty’ and BELIEVE IT OR NOT, ‘the governance, democracy and elections treaty’.

The Vice President later met with Libyan leader Gadhafi and conveyed a message from the Kenyan President.

    Kalonzo and Kibaki

Kalonzo relayed a message from Mzee to Kenya's 'good' friend from the oil rich desert.

Mzee and the desert man have been tight lately, even prior to the current Grand Regency saga.

Kibaki and Gaddafi during a previous trip in Libya

The big question is - could Gaddafi be using oil money to impose SOME Presidents (by various means) in Africa, who then give him unfettered access to their respective countries’ national resources and wealth?

What could have been the role of Gaddafi ( & proxies like Museveni) in the disastrous handling of Kenya’s 2007 general elections and attendant post-election violence?

Former President Moi regarded Gaddafi with suspicion and even severed diplomatic relations with Libya, closing its embassy in Nairobi in1987.

Kibaki seems to have ‘sweetened’ the Kenya-Libya relations.

The entry of Libyan investments into Kenya has been publicly punctuated by allegations of fraudulent and corrupt takeover of the Grand Regency Hotel.

Gaddafi's hand may have been exposed thanks to inept, corrupt, and motor-mouth cronies of Kibaki like Kimunya.

Kimunya and company have helped expose (to the common man) Gaddafi's motivation which seems to be - the establishment of a dominant economic empire within East Africa, covering Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia.

Thanks to booming oil prices, Libya has a lot of money to invest. Europe and America have lately become hostile investment environments for Arab investors like Gaddafi since the 9-11 terrorist attacks. In response, Gaddafi may be coming back to Africa with imperialistic ideas.

A long time back, Gaddafi had tried establishing a hub for Libyan investment in Uganda through dictator Idi Amin. His interest in Uganda is today kept alive by President Yoweri Museveni whose guerilla warfare he funded.

Gaddafi has also ‘helped’ - through violence- other current African Presidents get to power. In Rwanda and Congo, he enjoys unfettered access to the wealth of those countries.

It is no secret that Gaddafi financed Kibaki’s PNU campaign.

It has been reported that Gaddafi’s son, Al-Saadi Gaddafi, is adept at partnering with local host presidents and allies ; then targeting state assets via cheap no-bid sales or debt-for-equity swaps (purported loans owed to Libya being swapped for equity in public corporations). In such cases, not even a cent is paid for the takeovers - its just ‘debt’ write-offs.

Most of these Gaddafi-engineered Libyan investments in African countries are funded through the Libya Africa Portfolio for Investments (LAP), which is a $5 billion (Shs 330 billion) sovereign wealth fund set up in 2006 and whose subsidiaries include the Oil Libya National Holding Company ( Oilinvest/Tamoil Africa), the Libyan Arab Company for African Investments, Afriqiyah Airlines, the LAP Green Holding Company and various other projects and shareholdings.

It seems a Libyan ‘acquisition bug’ has caught Kenya thanks to Kibaki.

The bug did catch us long before Kimunya told us ati; Gaddafi aka Libyan government aka Libyan Arab Company for African Investments, is the new owner of the Grand Regency Hotel.

The Libyans were busy signing contracts with Finance Minister Kimunya long before the last elections, just as they were busy signing deals in Uganda and Rwanda.

It is prudent that the Grand Coalition Government illuminates all these deals signed by the credibility-lacking Finance Minister Amos Kimunya, to ensure Kenya was not fleeced and cheated out of its meagre resources.

In Uganda, Libya's LAP has acquired 80 per cent of Ugandan Telecom Ltd for a $100 million “song” and also Tristar - a garment exporting firm, for peanuts. They also ‘acquired’ Lake Victoria Hotel and 49 per cent of Uganda’s largest real-estate developer, the National Housing and Construction Corporation NHCC.

The Libyan wealth fund has ALSO CHEAPLY acquired Rwanda’s national telecommunications corporation, Kigali’s 5 star hotel - Novotel Umubano.

Notably, the cheap acquisitions in Uganda and Rwanda were concluded under the table, without open bidding and often involved controversial debt-for-equity swaps, leading to hundreds of millions in giveaway dollars.

If anyone thought the Grand Regency ‘acquisition’ was the only ‘sweet’ deal the Libyans were salivating for, then wait until you hear about another of its subsidiaries called Tamoil, which registered a local Tamoil EA some time back.

Gaddafi’s interest in the Kenyan oil sector came through another alias - Tamoil EA. Thanks to Kibaki, Tamoil EA completely shook up and replaced former giants to dominate the sector. And incase you didn’t know, at the center of the deals was none other than the Minister who would rather die than resign, when caught in impropriety- that’s Amos Kimunya.

Here is a list of Libyan-Tamoil’s cheap acquisitions and sweet contract deals under Kimunya, Ndungu and Gichangi that must be investigated pronto.

While this is not a public venture,..... it is in the public doman that using anti-"Big Oil Cartel" rhetoric against international oil companies, Finance Minister Amos Kimunya, bullied ExxonMobil into selling its assets in Kenya, which included 70 service stations and the associated supply and distribution facilities, ALL TO Libyan Tamoil EA right before the last elections.

Tamoil also acquired Exxons competitor, the privately owned Mobil Kenya (not Kobil).

Were there any acts of impropriety here?

Kimunya seems to have been mumunyaring big.

Mr Kimunya the mumunya, he of 'I'd rather die than resign'

    Now to public matters;

Thanks to a meeting between Kibaki, Gaddafi & Libyan investors in Kampala, Uganda, Tamoil EA won a bitterly disputed (controversial) tender to construct the $100 million (Shs 7 billion) Eldoret-Kampala oil pipeline extension. After signing the deal, Tamoil quickly pushed the cost of the project upwards by as much as US$12 million (Shs 750 million).

Can this deal be scrutinized and examined....since we are dealing with the same folks who are alleged to have engaged in a fraudulent attempt to acquire the Grand Regency.

The same company yet again won a no-open-bid right to build a US$60-million (Shs 4 billion) liquid petroleum gas (LPG) storage facility in Mombasa in which it will take a majority stake - remember, the government urges consumers to switch to LPG from wood as their primary fuel.

Tamoil also got a no-open-bid contract in a US $300 million (Shs 20 billion) contract to upgrade the Mombasa refinery, which serves the entire East Africa market with refined products. Under the agreement, Tamoil will import refined products from Libya. The MoU was signed secretly and there was no opening bidding where other oil companies could have competed against each other?

Is this surely how all business must be conducted in Kenya? Can ALL these contracts be reviewed.

THE AG, KACC et al must signal real fight againt corruption.

AFTER ALL, WE PAY RINGERA AT KACC A WHOOPING BILLION PER YEAR BUDGET AND HE'S NEVER INVESTIGATED ANYTHING WORTHY MENTIONING.

There are reports already albeit i treat them as rumours,to the effect that one lady from Kibakis family has stakes in the Grand regency thats why this whole thing is meandering around our necks.

Me thinks Kibaki's policy is whichever way you acquire a property to make money doesn't matter,so long as you are motivated by margins over and above what you invested.

I dont know if its only me but i seriously doubt Kibaki was teaching Economics at Makerere.Does Kibaki really portray any Economics in his Governance surely.I expected a leader with the added advantage of having studied economics should be a darling of its citizenry and an envy to other nations.

    Na kazi iendelee!

    Good day folks.

  28. I am not suprised that Orengo also asked for a bribe. He is trying to blackmail a colleague for not getting his deal

  29. On a lighet note am appalled by this comment moderation. Some of us have at times limited time sitting before computers because we have to go out and work and we expect to read reactions from diffrent persons.

By the time we leave and come back a new post is out and we cant react to each other.I wonder if we have to wait for someone to wake up,take a shower or leave the bar and come and moderate the comments. Its just beats the whole logic of free speech and expression or does it?

  30. Charles.Nairobi.
Kimunya seems to be fighting a battle he lost already, he who is guilty is the one that has much to say.
PNU is operating like foreigners in their own country.
He did it as usual shamelessly on LIVE ON CITIZEN TV ,attacking Raila like he was born be Finance Minister forever!
Do not step on the dog's tail, and he will not bite you.

  31. We thought Moi was crazy when he said that everybody in Kenya has a price and a Luo never costs more than Shs 5 millions. The one and only Orengo was asking for Shs 3 millions in the Grand Regency saga. No wonder this lawyer was fighting in public a couple of months ago with his wife over money. It is very sad that Moi was righ after all.

  32. Well, I can see most of you guys want to be quick to dismiss my comments about RAO infiltrating GEMA and splitting the voting block.

I have a few reminders for you doubting thomases.

First, the earliest ANYONE from the GEMA community will ever be president of Kenya 2032 or after. Thats right folks... start counting at least five good parliamentary terms from now.

The good thing is; Uhuru, Karua, Kimunya, et al are aware of this fact and are now only playing second division politics not to be promoted to the first division (premiership is where Raila / Kibaki are) but to avoid relegation to the 3rd division. In other words, to remain politically relevant.

Please do not accuse me of being tribal, but the fact is 99.9% of Kenyans know that it will be a very long long time before GEMA is 'elected' president after Kibaki.

Secondly, something else you doubting Thomases overlook; please study Raila's political history and you will see that mayhem and complete collapse follows whenever power mandarins betray the peoples dreams. It happened in FORD-K, KANU, NARC.....these were indeed all very powerful institutions in their days.....but reality is similar fate awaits PNU/ODM aka Grand Coalition Government. FYI, not just Karua who has jumped into the ODM train. Shitanda,Wetangula, Kuti, Mwakwere and other cabinet ministers are carefully but surely following Karua to ODM. You can place your bet on that.

Kibaki is retiring and Kimunya, Uhuru, Kalonzo, Kiraitu may as well retire with him. The time for change is fast coming upon us.

Some people call it dreams! I call it REALPOLITIK; just keep an eye on Kenyan news and you will not be surprised when my words come to pass.

  34. Reading the Raila bootlickers' comments, one would be forgiven for thinking that the coward is the paragon of virtues until u read the ndungu report and the molasses saga! ODM campaign plans intercepted last year prove that this group was never interested in any change ilikuwa wakati wa jaluo kula.. the cabinet list would have shocked the lunjes and kales who were stupidly high on ODM.

i agree with vikii 'the liar' should enjoy the trappings of power while they last he will never be the head of this country and KARUA will never stand such dishonesty, like kimunya she'ld rather resign from parliament! we all heard what he did to kimunya hes the chameleone itself and soon his real colours are going to be exposed for all to see.

As for orengo i believed kimunyas story coz of the amount of money he asked, these people never see beyond the shopping in london wachinga kapisa!!

Who said at raila was in same league as the president? wapi!!!!!!!!! the class prefect can never be above the headteacher(Kibs) ama the deputy(Stevo) but go on console yourselves ati mna execute prime minister but hes just a bull dog with no teeth!kibaki might look unsure but hes the real schemer here.. he knew all the liar needed was a ka-motorcade and a good office space bas! and let his foolish people think he got what he wanted..poor dude.

    Karua Girl.

  35. Vikii you are my man! Everything you have just said there, I resoundly and boisterously agree with you. I have always believed and said…Raila will never be the president of the Republic of Kenya and I have also said PM is the highest he will ever get… I am so glad to know that I am not the only one who knows this!
    You have made my day.
