Embers of Violence Everywhere

Kibaki has done his part and the Kenya is slowly but surely smouldering. Last evening saw great trek from the estates in Eldoret back to the showground. The January exodus of GRIEF from Munyaka and Kahoya is being re-enacted replete with buses hired to Nakuru and other safer grounds. While some here at Kumekucha gleefully gloat of clampdown, no regime can afford to post a policeman in every home leave alone house.

While the THIEF-IN-CHIEF deludes himself with fraudulent power, his voters continue to suffer from the harsh elements of weather with their stomachs holding any edibles at the mercy of charities. Personal security is more in perception and instinct that order. Kibaki can feign ignorance all the much he wishes but the countryside is bearing the full brunt of his raw grandstanding and brinkmanship. It is not out of sheer resignation to claim that Kenya will never be the same again but out of duty and urge to tell nothing but the truth.

Harm the body, fire the spirit
Saitoti too deludes himself that he is acting tough with the security on red alert. Well, right now about 200 GSU and APs camping at at Chepterit junction to Moi University but the remaining hovels in nearby Burnt forests are up in smoke again. A decade or more from now most Kibaki apologists would be asking themselves why the rest of Kenya hates them so much. The answer to that riddle lies in the question itself. They either chose to be part of Kenya of soil their hands in joining forces with the JANJAWEED president in collectively raping us.

Winston Churchill said it in the first half of the last Century and it still rings true now like it did then: YOU NEVER SUCCEED IN GOVERNING UNWILLING POPULATION. While juvenile gloating prompts others here to point that Robert Mugabe did it, just cast your eyes above the horizon and see the raging fire down in Zimbabwe. Mobutu did it with all the might and his fate awaits the Kibakis and Mugabes of this world.

This is the 21st Century and any attempt to bastardize a knowledgeable population with impunity will be overtly or covertly met with equal resistance. Brute force may slow the pace of resistance by visiting fatigue and physical harm but the spirit ends up fired astronomically. The resulting revolt is unstoppable. Not by any army or ammunition.

  1. KENYANS ACTUALLY SAW IT COMING THE PNU TURNCOATS- NOBODY IS SHOCKED:)

what i do know is that independent journalist have gave some villagers in Mt. Elgon some videos(which was very clever) to film what exactly the army was dumping in the mt. elgon forest with helicopters and the shocking footage is soon to hit the media- they didn't not pass the information to the local media since they do not trust them to air it- so international media is going to air the footage!! The Kenyans will see who Kibaki really is!!

KENYANS WILL DECIDE THE FATE OF KENYA!!

kenyans will understand that today it is Mt. Elgon and tomorrow kibaki will send the army to slaughter them in their own back yard- so only KENYANS will make that decision either to wait and the same to be done to them in pretence of national security or they stand up for justice and democracy and not allow anymore kenyans to be killed!

statement by Raila asking the Army to stop operation in Mt. Elgon until the coalition government in in place was not spoken out of hand!! he must have the full information on what really is happening there!!
I'm waiting to see this footage with all Kenyans then the fate of our country will be shaped!!it is like Kenyans were waiting for this all along and they have been ready for this hour in time for a long long time!!!full democracy for it's people!

  2. kenyan is for the people of kenya and not selected few- one mistake Raila did ever in his life was to say Kibaki Tosha in 2002- had he known this animal we send police to shoot and kill his people in kisumu or murderer other innocent kenyans all over the country- then that tosh would never had happened- he carried the touch for kibaki in a wheel chair thinking Moi was the worst devil ever to rule kenyan!!

in all the years of Moi's rule?? not many Kenyans were killed in few days like now!! or IDP's in Kenya ot the hunger and anger reached the levels we see today!!! but one could always say- the kikuyu's promised if ever the get into power again they would finish anyone that disagreed with their way of power-
but wait during the elections the Kenyans realized the country was going the wrong direction and voted for change!! now it it is time for Kenyans to insist on that change that took them to the ballot box!!
let the struggle continue- god bless kenya!!

  3. Sam Okello is a man who excels in smoking weed and abusing substances--does anyone know whether he is a witchdoctor? Has anyone ever read his poor fictional books?

He came here the other day and lied to all of us. But Sam Okello, and his wife, are all LIARS, that is what they do best, lie and SWINDLE, fail to keep promises and SWINDLE others. Conman.

Sam Okello, Produce the dossier, we demand!!

  4. Even Kibaki's new strategy will be met with an antidote. It is just a matter of time before his corrupt forces are effectively routed out of R. Valley and a new Govt declared there. The remaining six provinces will swiftly declare allegiance to the new Govt at R. Valley.
Kibaki and Mt Kenya mafia will remain holding only central Kenya. The army and police force will just vanish into thin air and the few faithful Mungiki will be used to protect Mt Kenya mafia homesteads.
PNU na Kibaki kwisha. Kenyans are yearning for a real change, a revolution that will give them their dignity back.
    We now demand 100%.

  5. anon at 1:25, instead of asking Sam Okello for dossiers, go and ask Kibaki and his Mt Kenya mafia. They have been meeting with Mungiki at statehouse. They should be having some juicy information for you on how they will "snuff" the life out of ODM. Sawa

  6. is there anybody with real authentic news out there that can be tabled/viewed with photos or footage.

we are tired of so and so has this or that hidden info, to be unleashed on date x y z.

we can fight physically all we want, some will emerge stronger others, cunning etc. but force never wins the mind or soul.

our minds and hearts are made up, there are people from central, and there are people from the other provinces. we can choose now when there is still some semblance on peace and regrettable but relatively little loss of lives and limb or later when there is so much more bloodshed and little hope for peace, but we must agree we are totally incompatible and therefore need to be separated immediately.

  7. the first footage was of the poor fellow who's back looked like crocodile scales after he was tortured and i believe strongly there is plenty where that video come from- so let us wait??? meanwhile let the struggle continue- why not strike central?? with other means?? when they feel the loss of what other Kenyans are going through maybe they will understand democracy is what kenyans need and want!!wapi watu to strike this central Lesotho???

  8. It sounds better when you repeat it. The way I see it, this is the opportunity for 'Kibaki apologists' to run to the streets and protest the evils of Kibaki. It's an opportunity to show solidarity with the rest of Kenyans. Rather than start the long trek to show grounds, these citizens should be scolding Karua and Kibaki.

You see, Mungiki is armed to the teeth especially after the numerous fund raisings and more money from the Diaspora (oh yes, that Mwangi flat mate of yours might be a pseudo-mungiki). The RV militia, have laid down arms but remember these chaps were neither arrested enmasse nor disarmed. With such conditions, if the war comes back, I believe it will be the 'kichinjo' of the century….from both sides. Why cant Kibaki think?

    ReplyDelete
  9. The few of you who are true political science students and who have studied the development of civil wars will agree. Every civil war begins with the 'first fight' where a few ten or saw are killed. The bloody surprise of this 'first fight' usually leads to the negotiation table which when it fails, opens up the 'second fight'; usually the bloodiest and longest especially when the opposing sides are of equal strength.

Kibaki is puching Kenya to the 'second fight'.

  10. somebody help me understand this, what is the implication of election rerun to the new power sharing law? Do they still have to share power in that new governemt?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Thanks Kalamri for your good lessons.
Anon @ 2:11, after new elections, the power sharing agreement will not work. Power sharing is just an interim nbefore elections.

Now we can all see that powersharing in unworkable especally when the power brokers on PNU side continue working with the outdated Mt Kenya mafia mindsets.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I think this power sharing thing won't work in Kenya. Rao should have seen this coming. Am taking the statement of a new election seriously. I gather thats what PNU and affiliates will tell annan and the UN to facilitate. Karua is quoted saying on sunday that an election would be the only way out. My questions is - where is this confidence coming from? What is this that they know that Rao does not know?

  13. Romania which back in the day was communist. In 1989 people decided to revolt and overthrow the communist regime. This resulted in a year long revolution which ended with the capture and death of the communist dictator, Chauchescu. Whats interesting is how he got put away. They executed him and his wife on live TV (I'm not sure if it was live actually but it was broadcast on TV) in front of a firing squad. Now thats justice!

  16. Anon@2.51 the elections threat is all HOT AIR premised on very plastic confidence. The clincher is to revert to the tattered katiba ati GENERAL lections so all and sundry. That script is intended to scare MPs knowing election duel what is costs. With that they remain oblivious of the same ASS law barring Janjaweed president from constesting after his SECOND TERM. That is VERY HOT AIR.

the election scare is not aimed at ODM

its aimed at kibaki and possibly kalonzo, telling them indirectly that if you give out our cabinet posts, then you are on your own. MK cannot dish out more districts, or even put his name on paper, while SKM .. ..aahh .. now where shall i start ... eerrh ..

    Divisions in Kibaki’s camp

Meanwhile, divisions have emerged among President Kibaki’s men over a proposal that PNU names its share of the Cabinet, The Standard has learnt.

A source said two camps emerged at a Cabinet meeting at Harambee House on Monday, after some ministers tried to convince the President to appoint 20 members and PSs.

"There was a debate over whether the President should name the PNU share. The proposal nearly sailed through," a minister said.

But the source said the plan flopped after three ministers from the Mt Kenya region warned that it could plunge the country into chaos.

The Attorney General, Mr Amos Wako, also cautioned that it would be unconstitutional to name a Cabinet without the blessings of the Prime Minister-designate Raila Odinga.

"The National Reconciliation and Accord Act is already law, and we cannot change it without consulting him (Raila). If he goes to court over any appointment, he can easily win," the source quoted Wako as saying.

But some ministers argued that it was constitutional for the President to make the appointments.

The meeting failed to agree on interpretations by two lawyers in the Cabinet.

why was the "erroneous" grading selective?

how do we know that these errors have not been occurring in the past but swept under either due to negligible effect or other reason?

what steps have been taken on the COBOL programmers who programmed the error?

  25. It is a sad day when we are blinded by loyalty to either side. People wake up! Neither Raila nor Kibaki truly has the people's interest at heart. We have all been duped by the ruling elite in Kenya. What is sad is when either of them says jump, we jump. Since when were the proud people of Kenya so polarized by hate mongered by 2 individuals? Come on... You and I know the truth is in the pudding. Look to the new generation of leaders coming soon of young enterprising professional Kenyans that have true love for our mother Kenya. It is a known fact that we need to in no uncertain terms notify the wazees, or rather those that lean towards a colonial mentality where the leader's word is not to be questioned or challenged that we are going to unite the people of Kenya under a social movement of true change that politely nudges these backward thinking know-it-alls out of power with the statement that was drilled into our young minds that we the youth own the future. Let this be heard and echoed in our motherland. You can fool some people sometimes but you can't fool all the people all the time... Raila is like Hillary and Kibaki is like McCain...alas where is our Obama?

good points but RAO is not the problem

RAO showed selflessness and teamed up with kibaki in 2002-2005 when it became unplatable to co-exist in teh same govt. kibaki messed up 2003-2007. we (many of us) voted him out. he dug in and between him and his lieutenants have continued to mud sling RAO using state resources which as we know are far reaching.

Problem starts with and ends with kibaki and his lieutenants jointly or separately. the constant thorn in the flesh is kibaki. everything else (central, psychos, etc) are symptoms like headaches, pain etc accompanying the thorn. medication may soothe the pain for a while (annan) but ultimately the thorn needs to be removed. sometimes if it takes too long, the thorn digs digger and may come out with more flesh and pain, than if removed sooner.

  33. Since some of you mention Romania as an example, then you might be interested to know the following: At the time the Romanian Government was overthrown, members of Seguridade (the infamous Special Security of the President which was known for brutal killings, spying etc.) was in Kenya to train its new-founded GSU (replacing Special Branch). They were a.o. the ones which installed the 'listening room' where thousands of tape-recorders were installed to listen to telephone conversations of Kenyans. After their own Government was overthrown, Kenya (under Moi) offered them to stay on and work together with the Kenyan Security. Some of them have then set up private Security Companies and might still live in Kenya. Their 'speciality' was killing, mostly by poison. And when you check on some of the killings of people during the early 90's (like some of the witnesses of the Ouko-murder), you will find some poisoning cases here (like the attempt on Saitoti, the killing of Police Commissioner Kilonzo, Oyugi, Muliro etc. etc.). Interesting outlook, don't you agree?

  38. ODM must understand that:

Kenya is not the Yala Swamps of Nyanza. And Kibaki government is not Dominion Group to be intimidated through some bum arguments.

What is happening to the Dominion Group in Nyanza is symptomatic of what is soon to happen in Kenya: a crash of two cultures. One culture embraces hard work, investment and development. The other is a malignant culture of poverty that intimidates others for hand-outs; this culture specializes in playing the victim card using such terms as historical injustice. The malignant culture is being introduced in Nairobi by Raila by telling his followers not to pay rent to people who have invested their sweat in building rental houses. While the Dominion Group has a choice of either staying or relocating, the Kenyan pro-investment culture cannot afford that luxury. The only choice is to resist and fight back this pestilence with all available resources. In the Bible, St. Paul says that those who don't sweat should not expect to eat. Let us abide by Paul's command and reject ODMism, once and for all.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ppyDws4vBc0

watch it carefully- this kenyans already suffered for long in the hands of the saboat!! the police and Army were suppose to protect them not torture and murder them!!
kibaki being commander in chief illegally has a case to answer- i don't care how long it will take- hhe will answer to the people of kenyan- he can hide behind the presidency now!! but remember even during hitlers time those who gassed the jews in the camps and left and hide in other countries for years they were found- and locked up- last year one was deported from Canada!to face his crimes and he was in his 80's!! kibaki will not get away with all the crimes he has committed against humanity(kenyans)
Nyati house was closed down- we thought it was the end of torture in kenya- but we should have realized we had a monster in disguise when more than 50 mungiki's were executed by his orders in cold blood!!maina kiai tried to warn Kenyans then but nobody listened- so you see he started with the mungiki executions in cold blood(what happened to the courts of kenya) then he unleashed on ordinary innocent Kenyans when he decided to rig and rule by force!!but this monster we have in statehouse is worse than any other that has ruled Kenyan-

yes this this kikuyu culture is totally different from all other tribes in kenya

for example- the IDP'S should be settled on all the illegal aquired lands the kikuyu thieving elite stole from their own veterans who fought for it during independence but when they finally returned from the bush they found kenyatta had divided all the land to his cronies and he send then to rift valley yet stealing land from the other tribes!! here is an example!!

    1000 acres

So whats my point? This land thing will the powder keg that expodes Kenya.

imagine this PNU sycophants- sincerely even a 6 year old can do better with fibs or lies?? first do they think kenyans are so stupid or not educated enough to see through their lies and propaganda?? don't they know with the internet one can get any information and with the wireless services information shared is priceless!! even the president of Zimbabwe didn't not see sms coming and that was what helped Zimbabweans this time to vote him out just like kenyans did to kibaki!
so i suggest to the PNU propaganda machine! you are wasting your time on here are any other blogs!! kenyans can see through you!!and your rigged in leader!!

odm-should not go back to the table- let the speaker call for an interim governing body- work on the constitution within a year and let as have another election!! like orengo said once kibaki signed on the accord and it passed in parliament - a president, a prime minister and 2 deputies- so now if they two parties do not agree this is were the speaker of the house comes in!!the speaker has the powers to come in and set an interim govening body- so both kibaki and raila will step aside with no powers an all-

  62. The big question here is whether the signed accord overrides the constitution. My layman analysis is that the constitution is the supreme law. PNU is relying on it as the current one gives the president powers to appoint, while ODM is claiming that the signed accord is superior document

Let us be realistic here, ODM cannot win their argument even in a free and fair constitutional court. The only reasonable demand they have is on sharing of cabinet post on 50/50 basis. The issue of PM having executive power to appoint equal to that of the president is an unsustainable argument. ODM has a slim majority in parliament to make the substantive changes necessary in the constitution to give the PM the powers.

Fill in the blanks when it comes to the nefarious creature currently lodged at state house. Any of you folks who think we remove the cancer at state house by using band aid (negotiations) are kidding yourselves.
When I jumped off the PNU ethnocentric vessel to the more reasonable and diverse, but, not perfect ODM outfit, I said no dictator has been removed without causing him major pain or running him out town.
Finally, we need to move away from land as source of wealth there is not enough land in Kenya that is a fact. All the developed nations have agriculture being less than 10% of the GDP. As long as we are going to scratch terra firma for a living we will be held hostage by common garden variety of dictators and murderers like kibaki

  80. M-Pesa,
I can not believe on statement that circumcision is an African rite of passage. You will find that half of the African communities do not circumcise. In Uganda, our neighbour it is only the Gishu who have any discernible circumcision rites. And their rites are an extension of the Bukusu rites in Kenya. The Sebeis are also exception due to shared culture with the Kalenjins.Add the muslims maybe. So is Uganda not a nation because most of them are uncircumcised?

I am circumcised but that is never the occupation of my existence. Another man's family jewels are not my business. You obsession with foreskin is baffling. But, I am working hard on a theory to help solve the mystery. To help me formulate the theory, are you catholic by any chance? An answer to that question will help a lot. Meanwhile, lets obsess about size ;)for a change!

You claim of universality of circumcision as an African rite of passage shows your ignorance. It is sad that you share it with the public.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice impressed on President Kibaki and Mr Odinga of the Orange Democratic Movement to, without any further delay, form a coalition Cabinet in which real power is shared.

"Should the accord not be implemented, the US will form its own judgements regarding responsibility for lack of implementation of the accord and act accordingly."

Please bear in mind this was book was written before we had the internet and the world became truly a smaller place .

Haven't you read the comments posted above under this post? Face it, we're living with people with the lowest I.Q. measure in the world. The race between Hillary and Obama is sane, constitutional, conventional and customary. Please do not compare it with the mess we're having in Kenya.
