Divorce Before Marriage

It was bound to happen sooner than later. The frenzy of the political gongs all beckoned the present deadlock. You cannot beat Kibaki at his own game. He started it by duping assaulting all Kenyan voters so trashing deals with a party is no big deal that only demands a negligible trace of deception.

Election theft is an irreversible vice and you only sustain it with equally fraudulent antics. Damn the national consequences. Well, it is not that easy as pedestrian analysis may imply. The law only becomes an ass when selectively applied to further sectarian interests. The same law being abused not will be reverted to when the boot switches to the other foot.

The present Kenyan constitution only recognizes a coalition government with SPECIFIC composition. You can twist that all the mush you fancy but no running away from that unpleasant truth. The accord clearly spells it out that ODM and PNU are to FORM and NOT JOIN a coalition government. The simple four-lettered word FORM cannot be replaced with join. The Janjaweed president can ride on deception but the destination is guaranteed not to be anywhere near being pleasant.

JANJAWEED president
There is no monopoly of dirty tricks. Kibaki stole the elections and couldn’t run away with it. Nothing has changed to have him defraud Kenyans of peace while subjecting them to permanent tension thanks to his incompetence and failure to reign on his own ministers who have seen a weak link they are gleefully exploiting at the peril of all Kenyans.

Annan and his team of mediators are not fools to have chosen the word portfolio to beautify the accord signed on February 28. They meant every letter of the word and rapping it to its irrelevant derivatives including fortyfolio and forty thieves won’t wash. No amount of bravado and ego messaging with state resources can sustain an illegitimate regime given an electorate that is singularly determined to reclaim their right.

You CANNOT rule an unwilling population. Raw force may temporarily subdue their physique but that only succeeds in firing their spirit. The THIEF-IN-CHIEF cannot fool Kenyans and the whole world. His apologists can continue harping and yapping all the much they wish in sanitizing his evil deeds but it all boils down to enjoying the pleasures of political auto-eroticism.

Only in Kenya do subordinates have the balls to dare hold the president hostage. And only here do you find a president serially lying to his people with a straight face bereft of any rumour of remorse. Well, lying is a vice that Kibaki has effortlessly turned into his middle name. Kenya is not for sale and Kibaki will never sell it neither her citizens. Time of reckoning is nigh. Whatever goes round eventually comes around. Kibaki is running on political empty.

Chris-I still think I made the best decision re the Safcom IPO. The best time for investors is now. When we become stable, the only way things will go is up.
Same case applies to Zimbabwe, the time to go in is now.

  3. surprise surprise!! i received an email from a friend yesterday on a rumor that is flying around nairobi- that PNU strategy was to push the ODM to call mass action!! then use that excuse to send people(not sure who) in the IDP'S camps in the Rift Valley do some damage to some of those people in there(no need to guess what) then blame it on ODM)- this way they will have the excuse to bring in the army and the police which is now stationed in western and some still in Mt. elgon! my friends email continues to say the plan is to call a "STATE OF EMERGENCY" which does not surprise me after all Raila has not been sworn in!! what can he do??
I called a few friend in Nairobi and that is the word on ground - this means PNU actually is playing a dangerous game if this are facts!!

has anyone else heard this?? from friends on ground????

too long winded/far fetched for a plan. if there was substance in it, already other parallel efforts would have been in place like those famour mouthpieces already talking fire and smoke.

likely someone else is planning mischief and wants to entangle PNU/ODM so that they come out looking clean.

i don't like PNU but i don't think they can plan crap like that. i believe that plan is from somewhere else other than ODM or PNU core. Fringe parties or even mischievous PNU partners (ODM-K, Safina, Kanu, long list of possibilities) i can agree. they would have more to gain from such evil than PNU core.

PNU US A VERY DANGEROUS PARTY THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO STAY IN POWER AND I CAN SEE THEN DOING EXACTLY THAT!!
YOU GIVE USE A REPORT ON MT. ELGON SINCE YOU ARE SO SURE ABOUT PNU AND EVEN GO TO THE EXTREME OF POINTING AT OTHER SMALLER PARTIES WHO HAVE NO GOVERNMENT MACHINERY TO LAY OUT SUCH AN ELABORATE CRIME!!

TO ME YOU SOUND LIKE EXACTLY A PNU MACHINE AT WORK POINTING FINGERS YET YOU ARE DEEP IN THE TRENCHES!!
TELL US MORE ABOUT WHAT EXACTLY IS HAPPENING IN MT. ELGON????

thanks for sharing your information from your friend and as kenyans it is very important to share any normal or abnormal information we get! it might have look crazy to ordinary Kenyans- early last year- but after what happened after the elections- nothing to me sounds crazy or impossible- greed and power has taken over Kenya and anything is possible! look at our innocent Kenyans are still in the camps!! who cares?? but this mass action can be used to do horrible things to kenyans again and what I saw happening!! what could be a big deal to the same people to slaughter some IDP'S then blame the opposition and then call in the army??? why not???

is RAILA SWORN IN AS THE PM???? NOPE- SO LOOK AT IT THIS WAY- NO PM SWORN IN!!NO CABINET SWORN IN-
THEN ANGER FROM OPPOSITION TO CREATE MASS ACTION?? ALL OVER THE COUNTRY? WHO IS STILL IN THE OFFICE IN CONTROL?? KIBAKI - RAILA CAN NOT TELL THE POLICE TO STOP SHOOTING HIS SUPPORTER- HE HAS NOT BEEN SWORN IN!!HE IS JUST STILL AN OPPOSITION LEADER!!

IF I WERE ODM - I WOULD NOT DO MASS ACTION!! i WOULD GO FOR ECONOMIC BOYCOTT- IT IS EFFECTIVE IN IT'S OWN WAY TOO!! THIS PNU ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!

are you joking or this was a serious comment??and what exactly do this parties have to gain??

from causing such a crime of humanity- that is knowing already they do no have the means to plan such an elaborate plan? unless they control government security which we all know is under saitoti under kibaki?? ebu humor me!! you are taking it that lightly?? ati the smaller parties to cause un-rest they have more to gain than PNU!!
    like what??
in any case I would advice odm against mass action!!why let more kenyans to be killed- there are other ways to bring PNU to it's Knees without going on the streets to be killed freely- didn't you see the civil society being tear -gassed??wangari mathaai and the team!! does that show you that pnu respects freedom of speech??? nope!! i think i would take this information very seriously and inform as many people on the ground as possible- no more killings!

  10. I also have received a Dossier at my doorstep this morning. This Dossier detailed what will happen and gave a prophetic outlook of what is awaiting Kenyans of all walks of life.

When I read the dossier, my eyes watered, I almost cried, only to remember that I need not cry because Raila has been crying for me in the bedroom at night like a naked witchdoctor.

This Dossier, my good friends, is enough to tell us that time has come for us to follow Raila to the Lake, where plenty of fish await us, we will then drown and join Lwanda Magere, Jaramogi and Bob...just like the night Bob died!.

This is a dossier given to me, and this dossier was dropped at my door and this is the dossier needed to be seen by all and sundry.

Kumekucha, when can I post this 25 page dossier on this blog?

why don't you go and serve your PNU masters or shut up??? kenyans do not scare easily - you sincerely think PNU kikuyu's own kenya?? they don't !!kenyan belongs to the people of \kenyan- we will Romania them if you remember the history of Romania the people removed the president- he killed ands killed but he could not finish them- we are many tribes in kenya and PNU can not slaughter us all!! we are ready- we are not interested in mass action- there are many other ways to make it happen- you watch and wait and keep your dossier right at your door step!! PNU are just greedy power hungry individuals and like we kenyans say- they have to feel the pain right at the heart of central province and mourn like all other tribes before they feel the heat and pain of other tribes!! J.M Karuki and people like Ouko assassinations where Kenyans mourned then kept quiet!! that was the this is now and still Kenyans have to avenge the deaths of MP Were and Too we the people will not let it pass- we know who planned it and they will get the wrath of it!! so do not think you can scare us with a dossier- go give it to BBC or CNN or other news media if you feel it is of that importance like you keep harping here!! you are a true fake- because any human being who has information that can save another human being they normally take it to people or places that the information can be very effective and that is media!! but if it a PNU mole then of course is the usual propaganda to scare kenyans- so again do not come to kumekucha with your dossier of propaganda- if it is legit hand it to the news media- that is their job to break stories!!!
sincerely you pnu SUPPORTERS ARE SO DESPERATE TO STAY IN POWER YOU CAN SELL ANY BULL-SHIT WHAT PITIFUL HUMAN BEING YOU HAVE BECOME!! GO SEND YOUR DOSSIER TO THE MEDIA OR KEEP IT AT YOUR DOOR STEP!!

by the way we saw many of those on other blogs ati a musungu saying kibaki was to win election:) and when he rigged the magic mirror or mirror mirror on the wall must have dropped and shattered into tiny pieces of shame!

  16. ODM'ers MEZENI WEMBE!

The bitter cold fact is that politics is a game of chess, check mate! Kibaki who is a student of prof Moi politics has clearly outwitted the ODM.

Kibaki knows it can't get any worse than it did in the first 3 weeks of January. This time he is very well prepared. Flying squad, army, marines, airforce, GSU et' all are in high red alert.

Investigators of genocide are busy compiling their dossier againts Gen Ruto, Franklin Bett etc. Kenyans already bled for Raila and don't think anyone would be so stupid to to engage in any 'mass akson.'

ODM is already split right down the middle and Anyan'g Nyon'g has been booted out and replaced with goody-two-shoes Dalmas Otieno. That's the price for objecting to Safcom sale and also having more wit than Lord Raila!

Meanwhile, PNU is already busy celebrating eating juicy goat ribs and mutura. Millions of us have already invested billions in Safcom and just want peace otherwise our lives and investments will go up in smoke.

As I said, it can't get any worse than it did in january, people now value peace more and just want greedy politicians out of their lives. Their bloated 40 cabinet crew just shows all they care about is thie fat bellies, not us.

ODM better take half the loaf or no loaf at all...eat humble pie and becone a ruthless opposition nmachine in parliament otherwise forever shut their big domos.... Guys, it's time to move on!

please, understand. PNU strategy is simple. provoke, assess/evaluate, counter, adjust (moderate quantity) , eat (pnu) or crush (odm), repeat cycle from provoke.

ODM reaction is indignation, reasoning/impact evaluation, concede, solution/path finding.

  18. people like M-pesa are not truthful. they are trying to pacify ODM thru, psychological warfare, ati pple (ODM) are tired, while others (PNU) are happily eating.

jamaz, if that were true, they'd continue to eat, because PNU is a selfish machine.

wana uoga that they are on sinking ship and are hoping to rope us (ODM) in.

my advice, waendelee kula (roast) rotten donkey. we dont care, its not worth it. we can nurture our own fresh food no matter how long it takes because we after all are ODM, the best thing that ever happened to Kenya.

  20. safaricom is an excellent buy. Do not get emotional about business .You do not need to be an expert ( we have too many of these in kenya anyway) the more you know makes you realize how little you actually do . Oooops.... stockbrokers Dyer and Blair say "we know you know" ( i retract my previous statement... heh, heh no pun intended ! ) Kudos to the proud kikuyu woman .

New elections with the current ECK ??? Execuse me but my nausea is threatening to overwhelm me . Thanks but no thanks.
On the grand coalition regardless of how many hoops both PNU and ODM jump through we will have a joint government. It is satisfying to trash and bash but ultimately this is a journey taking us nowhere.
    Who after all is ODM and PNU . ODM= kikuyu,kamba,kisii,luhya,kalenjin, mijikenda,luo,etc,etc... and PNU= luo,mijikenda,kalenjin,luhya,kisii,kamba,kikuyu
Two sides of the same coin. On one coin. so forget about calls for the united ODM of kenya or the republic of PNU mountains of kenya .
Hatred warms the body but it kills the spirit . We need solutions:
1.) 20 man cabinet ( let these hyenas sweat it out)
2.) cabinet deadline 72 hours ( Sue me. I am feeling generous. After all every good teacher knows that one must make allowances for those who are slow in class.)

  23. Dear ODMers:

You need to clear your heads with two realizations.

First, the fact that you sneaked up on women and children and burned them in a church in Eldoret does not mean you are brave men. Listen very carefully: don't make a mistake of getting carried away and repeating that inhumanity! Similarly, stop giving worthless warnings, altimatums, Amargeddon predictions, dreaming of Lesothos and what not. Remember, the mark of a true man/woman of substance is the ability to give warnings they can back up with consequences if disobeyed. At the very least, avoid swearing like your messiah Raila. Do you remember him saying to all that he would not negotiate with a thief; that he can not serve as PM under Kibaki?

Seccond, life is a compromise between the ideal and the possible. That is, your ideal, not a universal ideal. The self importance exhibited by you and your leader should be toned down, otherwise it is misleading you with regard to your position in the power matrix. Raila says (and his followers agree) that he has given alot. But given what? He came to the table escorted by Annan empty handed. So he has been a recipient (a donee not a donor) of power; and he should thank his God for every bit he gets!!!

  24. Wana ODM..Mta do?

As one Okello said in January that Kibaki's regime had only hours to live, the student of Prof Moi still grinds on like an old mill.

You did all your best in January and Kibaki dangled a carrot above your greedy mouths and hence got fooled. You destroyed your own towns, schools, churches and hospitals. Investors fled from your madness and will never return. Self inflicted poverty now bite.

You just don't get it domos, do you? You can't overthrow a government with sticks and stones and some silly fires! Mass Akson backfired! Remember let's boycott City Hoppa, Equity Bank..blah blah?. Sounds like an ancient dream, doesn't it?

Before the end of the week, your "duly" elected president HE Mwai Kibaki will once again stand on the steps outside Harambee House and announce his side of the cabinet. Mta do? Ok, there will be some disgruntled voices here and there especially in Kumekucha and KTN, but the noise always dies down..doesn't it?

If Raila doesn't take the leftover bones of cabinet spaces, they will be filled without a blink. Some people never learn! Kibaki has never kept his word and on any deal and will always be a serial betrayer. Can anyone see old Moi's hidden hand in all these madness?

    Mta do?

  27. Taabu,
I have always been a pessimist. Even in the few times mass euphoria has infected me. I have been guardedly optmistic.
Looking at Kibaki's record will tell you what kind of man we are dealing with. Expecting anything good out of the dictator is wishful thinking.
Looking at how nations break up, we are doing a fine job of breaking up (Not that I mind, Frankly, I would be perfectly happy if some combating sides are separated into different nations)
Looking at how civil wars start, we are doing a fine job planting the seeds for the most vicious one ever seen.
Frankly ODM has made a lot of concessions but PNU is made up a group of ethnocentric goons who want the rest of Kenyans in servitude. Truth be told it is time for new elections. They would cost less than the price already paid by 4 months of inaction.
