Kenya In The Cauldron Of Evil

"There is evil in the world and evil must be confronted". Those were the words of George W. Bush...…after visiting one of the numerous Rwandan museums that loudly testify what black Africans can do to each other in a relatively short period of time. I say 'loudly' because here, you will not find pictures, videos or curators explaining what really happened; No! In these museums, you will actually view the lime treated incomplete structures of bones and skulls from previous Rwandan human life forms. I have been there.. so I know …so I saw.

So what is the relevance of such verbiage in Kenya today? Well, one might wonder why the 'duly' elected president of Kenya has not mouthed any tense suggestive or equal to the blood that has found its escape via the blocked trenches that crisscross Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, Naivasha and other Kenyan cities and towns. While it's true that the spillage of bright red human blood has been confined to areas where the majority does not show any affection for the purported presidency, it is also true that in denying the existence of the Kenyan socio-political crisis, the very presidency chooses to ignore the plight of those whose lives have been directly affected by the imposition of a clearly illegitimate governing apparatus that craves identity as the absolute Kenyan governance authority. Karua's excerpts of Kenya being sovereign does not apply. Wetangula's puppetry assertions that coalition governance is not in play does not apply. Mutula's insistence on following the 'constitution' of course does not apply. I say this because evil has manifested itself in the pronouncements of anything PNU. This at a time when folks are sitting quietly in the hope that they will see the daylight of tomorrow. I'm not kidding, a thousand or so souls have come out yelling for democratic peace and never saw the next day.

In circles of great denial, the above paragraph may be construed as biased and to the most extreme, unfounded. With that, I want to vehemently accept the existence of views supportive of the current 'government'. While I will not go as far as intimate that those views are anywhere close to reality, I appreciate that there in fact exists a different point of view. The point of view that Kibaki won fairly and squarely. The point of view that all qualms must be resolved in Kenyan 'courts'. The point of view that suggests that anything agreeable towards a coalition government must be available within the current constitution.

This is the point where President Bush's utterances become relevant. At what point is a lie an evil that must be confronted? If Kibaki won, may he be blessed with the opulence reserved for the prince of light; if he clearly stole, may he diminish to the status of a ravenous rat. If Kibaki truly believes that Kenya will see great strides and success under the current constitution that he so much supports (even though he was at the forefront of discarding it a few years ago) then may the heavens open and shower him with trinkets of love and peace; if not, may he be unable to tell the difference between fire and brimstone.

To say that evil has engulfed the minds and beings of Kenyans today is an understatement. In 2002, I could match into heaven equipped with the knowledge that every Kenyan desires change…and with that I would sit not so far from the lord himself. Today, were I to meet angel Gabriel with the same claims, I would be forsaken to the throws of hell. Those like me who have been repeatedly and I must add, involuntarily, confined within Central Police Station cells could tell you how desperately the judicial arm needs change, today some of my prior inmates would gladly go to jail. In fact those who cried when Matiba lost, are today singing loudest that the same demons that denied their man have descended on another one.

Kenyans, let us all confront the evil.

  1. My Brother - One thing the negotiators hav agreed is that truth should be told no matterhw bitter it is. We shall in a period of 3-6 months know who won the elections. If Kibaki lost he should give the poer to the right holder and offcourse justice should take course for shamig institutions and watch as kenyans hacked each other. If Raila won he should be crowned. If Raila lost he should also face justice, as an accomplice to the killings.

The suffering we are going as kenyans is just too much. have all the clan from my burnt vllage in a 3 roomed house, yet i did not rig the elections. I hate all teh current politicians and they will rapists and other lesser souls in Gods wisdom to where they belong. They speak peace during the day and serve doses of hatred and murder at night. The Kenyan politician is teh worst animal to have lived in the 21st century. One day the truth shall come out. Whoever has bllo in his/her hands, be it throgh advise or actual action will face his/her. Its soon coming. Brothers preach peace. Be a a pacifier. Lets see justice aand let or words and actions show. Its very unafrican, sad and despicable to sleep with your parents in law and all the village clan in your humble abode, yet these are people who worked all their active lives. They are now asking God to rest them. How they weep when they see the protoganists enjoy keringet waters and eat our sweat. How they weep when they remember the MPs and the presidents they voted for are enjoying their February salaries already. Yet, our we had to go the local shopeer for some unga credit. I hate them all. I would have my peace, privacy and unga. The politicians is truly a beautiful burden of the downtrodden peasant. They eat am hungry. for how long shall this continue. Chari

  5. CAN YOU EXPLAIN?? WHAT YOU MEAN BY ""if Raila won he should be crowned. If Raila lost he should also face justice, as an accomplice to the killings""

WHO DID RAILA KILL!! OR IN TODAYS WORLD WHEN ONE FIGHTS FOR JUSTICE AND GOES ON THE STREETS TO DEMONSTRATE BECAUSE HIS VOTERS HAVE BEEN ROBBED OFF THEIR RIGHTS( please don't post here rubbish when the whole world knows kibaki rigged and send out his mungiki gangs and police with the order to shoot to kill innocent kenyans)

you as an individual become a lessor person and your words become meaningless due to the fact your post is actually trying to correct a history that has it's facts already- as much as you would wish that kibaki didn't not rig the elections!!the fact is he did!! I feel sorry for the likes of you, who want to wish it away ::) it is funny you even use prayers!! nada!! it won't go away Kibaki rigged the elections and took away the Kenyans people right to vote democratically!! so be it ! he will face the consequences- As for you stick your head in the sand like the rest of the central province!!
don't malign Riala here it just shows how cheap you are!! and desperate!

  7. Its easy to tell a PNU apologist from the tired "blame both sides" argument. They think that it diminishes the war-crimes of Chief Kikuyu tribalist Kibaki. Kenyans, with the possible exception of those living under a rock on a remote planet, already know who won the election. The pressure now is to make the thief give up the stolen power while "saving his face" as President in a power-sharing arrangement. ODM has many options, but this is their current thrust.

  8. Kenyans should start boycotts- anyone who is of is not a kikuyu should not report to work- go slow is the word!!

Any industries in industrial area should be all boycotted by non kikuyus' - Kenyans we don't have to go on the streets to be slaughtered by the mad illegal president thug- we can all stay in our homes and let the economy stop- after all they claim they are the only hard workers so lets see what they can do!! Kenyans we can all afford to have one meal a day or starve in our fight for democracy.

but wait!warning we have people in place no trucks shall leave mombasa(big mistake you send police to harass innocent residents last week)- no trucks will pass through the rift valley -we are in ready mode there too- no trucks will pass western -

all trucks should head to central province!!
lets all seat in our homes boycotts no work-!! let the kikuyu's go to work!!

My question KIKUYU's said we are just watchmen and house girls!! who will watch their homes when mungiki come to circumcise their wifes and daughters!!! Rumour has it they are claiming revenge now for the 50 brothers that were executed by the government hardliners??
Kikuyu's who will watch your gates???

  9. I study in US and everytime I talk to wazungu they tell me is it the bad guy or the good guy who said this, in asking for a comment they heard from CNN news on Kenya. To them the thing is so simple just force the guy who stole the elections out! The whole world knows from the observers accounts what happened.
Americans abhor open rigging though they do here once in a while! The guy who does this loses respect big time.
Rigging is bad, and repeated assertions of a win a million times does not legitimize it... give us a break!
The way forward now is the change of constitution now and not tomorrow...it is now or never!
Let us strike while the iron is still hot. Let not our very constitution be a hiding place for criminals...

  10. You know what makes me very sad is:
    - We all know the person or people holding the whole of Kenya hostage.
-They have established a culture of shouting thief, thief once they snatch your wallet so that the public might end up beating you the loser of the wallet instead of the real culprit.
-There is no such thing as Kenyans bcoz even Karua says '' Kenyans'' will not accept yet she is hated by over 60% of the pple she claims to talk for.
-The arrogance of a few individuals and how they want to take what is left of this country to hell. Truth is in international terms we are still reffered to as Kenya but inreal terms there is no such thing as a Kenyan on hostile communities.
I'm really sad to be one of the inhabitants of the country called Kenya.
