  1. No I've never seen a big campaign cheque, is this one? Its becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate fact from fiction (aka propaganda). But then again, its the final days in campaign year, what to expect?

  2. Prof Nyong'o is very capable of drafting this cheap propaganda. As a PNU insider I can vehemently state that our partyt would never waste a single penny towards a foregone conclusion like Nyanza!

  5. What more evidence would one need to produce considering the published material is PNU stationery, the signatures are confirmed and the sheer amount funds involved complete with cheque number account number and name? Is someone here unashamedly holding brief for Lee Karuri and/or PNU?

Its an open secret ODM nominations were massively infiltrated by Moi on one side and Kibaki (PNU) on the other. The main aim was to (a) make political life difficult for senior figures at ODM (eg. Nyongo, Magara, Raila, Balala, etc), (b) where possible let the moles win ODM nominations then drop out of the race after the ECK deadline so that PNU candidates gets an easy way to parliament, and (c) basic mischief. Most of this money is not from well-wishers but from state coffers.

Its a recorded fact that Mwiraria and Kiraitu confirmed that Anglo Leasing was hatched specifically to raise funds fro President Kibaki's re-election. The Kroll report recommendations were shelved because Moi and son promised a commission (cut) to senior figures in Kibaki's government plus unequivocal support to Kibaki by official opposition in exchange for the political insurance.

How long are Kenyans going to be taken for ride by the likes of Kibaki and Moi?

Even as we debate here, we are learning from civil society that Telkom sale has been fast-tracked to happen only four days before the general elections and safaricom IPO is also in the pipeline to happen before the regime change. These deals, disguised as off-loading of public assets, are actually a major rip-off of Kenyan public by politically correct individuals. What a shame to be called a Kenyan!

  6. This fake has been floating about for weeks. There are a few glaring mistakes on the cheque...
    1. Notice how the date on the cheque is printed while the amount is hand-written.

    2. The font used to type the date and the branch address is exactly the same.

    3. The security no. at the bottom of the cheque is not only fake but is in the wrong format

  7. I think with MS Word, a blank Equity cheque and a printer, I can come up with an exact copy of the above. It is not hard to fake such. It is fake. And PNU and Mwai Kibaki is what you want them to be in your mind. We should all vote on the 28th, which is the only solution to all the stuff floating around, whether genuine or fake.

  9. What load of crap doubting thomases. Propaganda my foot.

The fact that Nyanza is already wrapped up by ODM makes it a PRECISE reason to spend more money there, especially because Western, NEP,Coast and Rift Valley will hear nothing from ODM-K and PNU! Nyanza is also home to ODM presidential candidate and senior ODM members Magara and Nyongo. Dont give us that bull crap.

Chris, these are the same geezers who wanted to crucify Raila for the fakest MOU ever to be published in Kenya, until Raila and NAMLEF made the genuine one public, with the rider "any muslim who supports and/or votes for Kibaki is the worst traitor"!!!!

Last time I checked PNu wheld nominations and will be fielding candidates in the so called foregone conclusion and here's further evidence of PNU grumbling over funds:
